Oh my gosh, you guys, I am living for this! Apparently, after Jessie Buckley won her Golden Globe, they had the cutest little dance party backstage! I heard it was a ‘Hamnet’ dance party – can you even imagine?! She was celebrating with Paul Mescal and little Jacobi Jupe, and honestly, it’s the most adorable thing ever. I’m so happy for Jessie, and this just proves how amazing the whole cast is! I need a video, stat!
The 36-year-old actress was the big winner at Sunday’s awards show, receiving the Best Actress award for her role in a Shakespearean play that also won Best Film.
A new TikTok video from Access Hollywood shows Jessie celebrating their recent victory with the rest of the cast.
The actress danced for Paul, age 29, and 12-year-old Jacobi, who cheered her on. Then, director Chloe Zhao, 43, started to direct.
Oh my gosh, you guys, Jacobi was absolutely glowing! He just shouted, ‘We love dancing!’ and the whole cast burst into ‘We Found Love’ by Rihanna! It was the most magical thing ever, seriously. I’m still getting chills just thinking about it!
Jessie celebrated her victory on Sunday with her partner, who previously had a diverse career working behind the scenes in television before transitioning to the field of mental health.

She recently shared that her partner, Freddie, likely won’t attend formal events with her because of his work, but he did support her at the Golden Globes.
Jessie married Freddie in 2023, but she’s asked that his identity be kept private due to the sensitive work he does.
During her acceptance speech, Jessie playfully mentioned her husband, joking that he was having a good time with the free food and drinks.
Jessie didn’t just celebrate with Freddie at the ceremony; she also shared the special evening with her on-screen partner, Paul, enjoying their shared success together.
The actors, who became close friends while filming, were photographed having fun together after their movie won the biggest award.
Paul jokingly pretended to bite the award card announcing their film’s win, and Jessie playfully reached over to do the same.
Jessie caused a stir when she jokingly said she could easily outdo Paul after collaborating with him on their successful film.
At the Critics Choice Awards last week, she publicly complimented actor Paul, who was in the audience.

She playfully acknowledged her co-star’s popularity, jokingly telling him, ‘I really adore you, and I’m sure many other women here feel the same, but that’s just how it is!’
Paul initially laughed, but his expression quickly changed to tears when Jessie, speaking from the podium, said, ‘You have a huge heart, and I’m so grateful you helped me feel more like myself.’
On Sunday, she explained her previous statement, saying she meant he’s crucial to her work as an actor. She realized through their collaboration what’s possible in their field.
‘He brings you to the core of your humanity and once know what that is, it becomes like water.’
After Jessie complimented him, Paul replied, ‘I might have mentioned this before, but people will be analyzing Jessie’s performance in ‘Hamnet’ for years to come – it’s truly unforgettable.’
This is a truly remarkable performance, one that will be remembered for a long time. We’ll be talking about this film, and especially her incredible work, for weeks to come.
I truly believe the biggest celebrations are still to come – maybe in a decade, fifteen years, or even twenty! We’ll be honoring her legacy for generations, and everything she accomplished will be remembered forever.
Jessie not only praised her husband, but also playfully called Julia Roberts a ‘hero’ after losing the Best Actress in a Drama award to her.

I was absolutely thrilled to see Jessie win the award for Hamnet! It was such a strong performance, and honestly, beating out a Hollywood legend who was nominated for After the Hunt? Incredible! I’m a huge fan and so happy for her.
She warmly acknowledged all the other nominees, specifically mentioning Jennifer Lawrence for her work in ‘Die, My Love,’ Renate Reinsve for ‘Sentimental Value,’ Tessa Thompson for ‘Hedda,’ and Eva Victor for ‘Sorry, Baby’.
While on stage at the Beverly Hilton in Las Vegas, Jessie expressed her excitement and honored the other women nominated alongside her, saying, ‘Wow, the women I’m with in this category are amazing!’
Julia Roberts, you’re an inspiration – thank you so much! And Jennifer, Renata, Eva, and Tessa, I absolutely love watching you all perform; you’re incredible.
‘This is a real, real honour, I love what I do and I love being part of this industry.’
While thanking the team behind Hamnet, Jessie jokingly gave a special shout-out to a crew member who had cheerfully made soup for everyone during filming.
This isn’t an ordinary experience, but I’m grateful to the Golden Globes, Focus Features, and everyone who believed in this movie. Thank you.
Being part of this production was incredible – we were bringing the story of arguably the most famous British person to life. The team was wonderfully diverse, with a Chinese director, a large contingent of Irish actors and crew, and a mostly Polish team, alongside our British cast and crew.
I want to give a special thanks to our grip, Tomak. He started taking breaks during filming, and I once found him in the back of his truck making soup! He’d brought a huge cast iron pot all the way from Poland and was cooking it right there, and soon everyone on set was enjoying it.
‘It was delicious, so thanks Tomak for bringing your pot to set.’
