Despite the general expectation that the album wouldn’t be released until 2025, sources have suggested that it will actually drop in February. The source added that it’s all set to make a big impact as soon as it arrives.

Last year, she made a recording of music while she was in Nashville, Tennessee. This is where she reconnected with her deep-seated love for country music. Interestingly enough, it’s been 15 years since she released her first album.

According to a report by DailyMail.com in mid-January, the album is about heartache, as she wrote its songs during the dissolution of her marriage to Eric Johnson.

In September 2023, she last shared a picture with Eric on her Instagram; they parted ways the previous year.

The singer, age 44, revealed that she and her husband, a former NFL player who is also 45 years old, have been living apart while dealing with a difficult time in their marriage. She made this disclosure in a statement shared with People magazine.

She emphasized that her top priority is ensuring the well-being of her children, and they are making decisions based on what’s best for them. She also expressed her heartfelt thanks for the affection and encouragement they have received from everyone, but at present, they ask for privacy while they navigate through this family matter.

The pair share three children: daughter Maxwell, 12, son Ace, 11, and daughter Birdie, five. 

It seems they haven’t been seen together publicly since the kindergarten graduation of their child, Birdie, on June 7th. Additionally, Jessica’s Instagram posts have not featured Eric since their Easter gathering on April 9th.

In the captions, the singer started with, ‘I began my interviews in a music room in Nashville, where I discovered my unique charm.’

‘This return is about me; it’s a way of making amends to myself for enduring things that I didn’t deserve.’

Her remark drew surprised glances from her audience as they pondered over the identity of the person who subjected her to “treatment beyond what was fair.”

Earlier, Simpson shared that it was her children with husband Eric Johnson who motivated her to resume her career in performing.

She mentioned to Bustle in July 2023 that her current role involves being a mother and a wife. Previously, she was only a wife, but she stressed that this new marriage is quite distinct.

The actress from “The Dukes of Hazzard” pointed out that her children haven’t witnessed her performing live on stage. She explained that Maxwell, one of her kids, attended her first live performance alongside Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, for the very first time.

According to Simpson, his daughter is traveling on a private jet to Las Vegas to visit Katy Perry. However, deep down he wishes she had seen him first.

She expressed that she wouldn’t return to her profession until she felt her children were secure enough at school and in their lives, which she stated in September. Her preference was to prioritize being a mother initially.

Following a summer immersed in crafting fresh tunes in Nashville, Simpson expressed that her children are thrilled about it, understanding that she’s realizing her dream – something she was destined for at birth.

‘To have them experience that with me is going to be really beautiful,’ said Simpson.

In August, Simpson opened up about her sobriety after an online troll told her to stop drinking. 

She penned that she’s abstained from alcohol and avoided any contact with it since October 2017, and it has proven to be one of the most beneficial choices she’s ever made, not only for herself but also for her loved ones.
