The popular Australian television duo has caused amusement online when Jessica, aged 54, posted a string of playful videos featuring a friendly squabble with her spouse about the decorations for their holiday season.

In the lighthearted videos, Jessica shows her intense fondness for vacations, a fact that disappoints Peter, aged 58, who appears to be playing the part of the family’s self-styled ‘Scrooge of Christmas’.

The first video opens with Jessica cheerfully showing off her newly acquired Christmas decorations – charming, light-up reindeer sporting holiday caps and ribbons.

‘We don’t need more Christmas stuff!’ Peter exclaims off-camera.

Jessica’s cheeky grin and lighthearted quips, however, suggest she’s far from deterred. 

She then beams at the camera, marvelling at the glowing decorations she’s placed by the window.

She marvels at their beauty, exclaiming so, while Peter, with a hint of sarcasm, responds, “Ah, yes, I share your fondness for classic cars, especially Ferraris.

This holiday season, the Overton family plans to celebrate Christmas as a group at their luxurious residence worth $11 million, nestled within Sydney’s prestigious Eastern Suburbs area.

Located amidst immaculately kept gardens and tall trees, this six-bathroom home features luxury amenities akin to a resort, such as a heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and more.

Jess is married to Peter Overton, and together they have two daughters: Giselle, aged 15, and Allegra, aged 17, whom they share. They tied the knot in 2004.

Allegra has gained recognition as an up-and-coming model, having walked the runway at Australian Fashion Week for the first time in May.
