Jessica Jones’ ‘Gritty’ Daredevil Come Back Teased by Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter is all set to reappear in the upcoming season 2 of “Daredevil: Born Again” as Jessica Jones. The actress herself has described this second season as quite gritty.

In a recent chat with ScreenRant, Ritter expressed her enthusiasm for reprising her role, mentioning that there are numerous untold tales about her character that she’s eager to explore further.

Ritter expressed great excitement, clearly delighted to step into Jessica’s shoes again. There’s a lot more story ahead for her, and he finds that truly exhilarating, he stated.

During our conversation, I was also questioned about the upcoming second season of the series, and how it contrasts with working on Netflix productions, which tended to have a darker mood compared to most Disney+ Marvel shows. Ritter described the show as “gritty” and mentioned that returning felt just as intense.

Wow, it’s rough yet substantial. The team is fantastic too. I’ve had an extraordinary adventure. I can’t reveal much, but working with Charlie [Cox] is a joy. It was as if no time had elapsed. In fact, my first day here, I felt like we were back together again. However, contrasting it with my characters Mia and Jessica has been creatively enriching for me as an artist. This year is shaping up to be a massive milestone in my career. I believe the fans are going to be incredibly excited. We’re working on some exciting projects.

What do we know about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

To date, there isn’t much information available on Daredevil Season 2. However, it is set to continue from where the first season concluded, and there are whispers that Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Danny Rand (alias Iron Fist) might reappear, potentially setting the stage for a gathering of The Defenders.

Alongside Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Krysten Ritter (previously confirmed), the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 also features Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel portraying Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, Nikki M.
