As a devoted fan of Jessica Biel, I can’t help but be in awe of her dedication to her craft. The images of her filming scenes for “The Better Sister” in New York City are a testament to her unwavering commitment to bringing her characters to life on screen.
During filming of her new series, The Better Sister, in New York City on Monday, Jessica Biel came close to being hit by a car.
A 42-year-old celebrity donned business casual attire while filming a scene where she strolled across the road as a vehicle passed by.
A white convertible, seemingly driven by Corey Stoll’s character, sped towards her as she stood nearby. It came dangerously close to hitting her, but she swiftly moved away just in time before it reached her.
It’s not clear if Corey was actually driving for the tense scene, or a stand in had replaced him.
Jessica, whose spouse Justin Timberlake was apprehended for a DWI in June, exuded an air of calm sophistication in a navy blue blouse adorned with tiny white polka dots and boasting a floppily tied collar that hung loosely around her neck.
Her navy pants with a high waist and full legs added to the allure of her outfit, accentuating her figure.
In a pair of stylish brown open-toed heels and holding a spacious brown tote bag, she boosted her image, while sipping coffee with her free hand.
Jessica was again seen with her hair styled in a short, blunt-cut bob.
She filmed scenes for The Better Sister with both a bob and longer hair, making it unclear at first which style was her true, untouched look.
Instead, Jessica Biel, the “Sinner” actress, admitted that she adopted a trendy, short hairstyle when she copied the look to attend Justin Timberlake’s performances at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The forthcoming show by Jessica, inspired by Alafair Burke’s eponymous novel, portrays Jessica and Elizabeth Banks as two estranged sibling characters.
In a captivating role reversal, Jessica shines as Chloe, a woman who appears to have it all – a successful lawyer husband, played by Stoll, and a teenage son. Meanwhile, Elizabeth brings to life the complex character of Nicky, who has faced battles with addiction struggles.
After Jessica’s husband is murdered, the two are forced into an unexpected union as they grapple with the challenges of identifying the suspect and dealing with the fallout within their family.
Kim Dickens is also featured in the primary cast.
The Amazon Prime Video series has Craig Gillespie, known for directing “I, Tonya,” “Cruella,” and some episodes of “Pam & Tommy,” as well as being an executive producer alongside the lead actress.
Recently, Jessica has been avoiding public appearances when she’s not working, after her husband Justin’s surprising DWI incident caused a stir in the media.
The singer’s former NSYNC bandmates recently reunited at the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Four of the original boy band members are rumored to have agreed to a possible 25-year anniversary tour. However, it seems that Justin is the only one who hasn’t committed yet.
