Jesse Lee Soffer's Wes Mitchell isn't immediately part of the Fly Team in FBI: International Season 4

As a seasoned gamer of both crime dramas and CBS’s lineup, I must say I’m intrigued by the new addition to the FBI: International crew – Agent Wes Mitchell. The departure of Scott Forrester left a vacancy that needed filling, and Jesse Lee Soffer seems to be the perfect fit.

Typically, when a team leader departs, it’s common for a fresh face to step in. This is exactly what fans might have anticipated when it comes to the introduction of Jesse Lee Soffer’s character, Wes Mitchell, in FBI: International Season 4.

Wes Mitchell, Softfer’s agent, is expected to join The Fly Team as their new leader, filling the vacancy left by Scott Forrester at the end of season three. Scott Forrester went missing from the team, and it was discovered that he had reunited with his mother and departed somewhere off the grid, away from those searching for them. In the final moments of season three, Brian Lange decided that Forrester’s actions were noble, instructing the removal of any footage related to their whereabouts.

Leaving the opportunity for a fresh team leader to step up, given that Agent Cameron Vo, though promising, still lacks the required experience to lead at this stage. Therefore, we need to find another qualified candidate.

Wes Mitchell is dealing with something in L.A. in FBI: International Season 4

In the upcoming episodes, audiences will encounter Mitchell who’s currently in Los Angeles, delving into a “tourism heist” case that promises to draw the Fly Team into the mix. The investigation seems set to span continents, with Europe appearing to be the next stop. With this international twist, it’s apparent that the Fly Team is indispensable. As Mitchell collaborates with Vo, Raines, and others, we can expect to witness his seamless integration within the team. This harmonious interaction could potentially pave the way for him to assume the leadership role within the team.

According to TVLine, it appears that Mitchell’s character might be facing troubles in his relationship. Could it be that he’s contemplating ending things due to the difficulties? Perhaps a change of scenery, like moving to Europe, could benefit him.

There isn’t much information available about Mitchell or his role within the team, but it promises an exciting dynamic as we watch everyone adapt to his presence.

FBI: International Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 9/8c on CBS.
