Jess Glynne finally meets Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister as their aeroplane advert goes viral

It’s been confirmed that singer Jess Glynne recently had a meeting with the popular voiceover artist for Jet2 holidays, Zoe Lister, following the viral success of their airplane advertisement on TikTok.

This summer, I’ve found myself captivated by a viral tune that seems to be everywhere on social media, often accompanying humorous travel mishap videos. It’s fascinating how it has become an influencer’s go-to soundtrack, yet strangely enough, neither Jess nor Zoe – both in their mid-30s and 40s – have had the pleasure of meeting each other officially.

Currently, the pair have delivered on their followers’ expectations by reenacting the commercial live in the Capital Breakfast studio.

In an interview on Jordan North and Chris Stark’s morning program, Zoe mentioned that she feels so connected to the singer that it seems like she belongs in her band.

Regarding the tune, Jordan commented: ‘Without a doubt, it’s a hit. You can hear it sounding fantastic in any nightclub.’

Chris responded, “It’s fascinating how often you come across that song during flights and in commercials.

Later on, it’s intriguing that, without much clarity as to the causes, this summer witnessed an enormous surge in popularity on TikTok. Frankly, I must admit I’m taken aback by how big this phenomenon has become.

Jess responded: “Indeed, it’s completely unexpected, a full 100%. Yet, it’s incredibly fascinating to witness.

It’s strange because during my performances, I get the sense that the audience expects me to sing ‘Nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday,’ even though I want to make it clear that this isn’t just a joke. It’s important for me to take it seriously.

Chris responded: “Indeed, we’re aiming to create a memorable moment for you, Jess. Let me be upfront – we have something quite extraordinary planned for this morning.

Everyone throughout the United Kingdom is buzzing with excitement about this. Over the weekend, I’ve received numerous messages from people. Therefore, it’s not only an invitation for you but also a warm welcome!

Certainly, Rudimental and Jess Glynne are present, along with the voice from the Jet 2 holiday commercial. Let’s bring her on stage as well – say hello to Zoe!

To which Zoe quipped: ‘We’re bonded I feel like I’m basically in your band now

‘Our goal is for all of you to produce the sounds we’re hearing live and simultaneously!’

After some time had passed, it wasn’t until later that I, along with many others, discovered the identity of the captivating voice behind the virally popular and frequently parodied Jet2Holidays advertisement. That voice, as it turned out, belonged to a well-known British soap actress.

An advertisement from a UK organization, playing popstar Jess’s “Hold My Hand,” presents a delightful family vacation experience overseas, as a narrator swiftly outlines the deals and savings on offer.

I can’t help but gush over the captivating, high-energy voice in that 30-second Jet2 ad, a sound as memorable and distinctive as a UK chart-topper by Glynne. Fun fact: It turns out that this enchanting voice belongs to none other than the exquisitely talented Zoë, who once graced our screens on Hollyoaks!

Between 2006 and 2010, Zoe portrayed the character Zoe Carpenter on Channel 4’s series. She briefly reprised her role in April 2017.

Zoe, who is both an author and a performer, and a mom to two children, was part of 56 episodes for the soap opera that celebrated its 30-year milestone this year.

Other past acting jobs include roles in Midsomer Murders, Crime Stories and Staff Room.

As per information on Harvey Voice’s official website, she has been lending her voice to Jet2Holidays for a span of four years.

It wasn’t until quite recently that the mother of two finally unveiled herself as the speaker behind the TikTok ad, a fact that brought great joy to her fans.
