Jesinta and Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, a well-known couple in Australian Rules Football, are trying to sell their luxurious home on the Gold Coast for a second time.
The couple is listing their seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom Mediterranean-style home for $10.9 million. This is their third attempt to sell the property in the last 14 months.
Buddy recently announced that he and his wife, who are expecting their third child, plan to move to a rural home before Christmas.
The 38-year-old AFL great said that the couple have snapped up a ‘hobby farm’.
We needed to buy another place before we felt comfortable selling this one,” Buddy explained to the Courier Mail.

The star football player said moving to the countryside is ideal for his family, and he’s planning to get his children ponies for Christmas.
The Franklins bought their Reedy Creek mansion, known as ‘Villa Casa’, in 2022 for $8.75million.
This resort-style, multi-level home, situated on elevated land 16 kilometers from the Gold Coast city center, was first offered at auction in July 2024.
After two months with no offers, the couple took the property off the market.
Last month, they started a new campaign to sell the property. It’s a large space – over 1096 square metres – and offers stunning views of the coast.
Highlights include expansive grounds and two separate dwellings.
The two-storey main residence boasts a ‘rumpus room’, a media room, and a private living room.
There’s also a large pool and entertainment deck with an adjoining ‘pavilion’.
The home boasts impressive design elements like large, arched windows reminiscent of Spanish architecture, beautiful wood floors, and walls finished with lime render.
Gold is used for the lights and taps, adding a touch of elegance.

Two years ago, Buddy and Jesinta Franklin, both 34, set a new price record for a home sale in the beautiful hills when they bought their mansion.
This stunning home, created by renowned architect Reece Keil, quickly became the most popular listing on Realestate.com.au when it was first offered for sale in 2022, drawing a lot of attention.
Jesinta mentioned to Daily Mail last year that they were planning to put their Gold Coast home back on the market, hoping to find a buyer for at least $11 million.
‘We’ll relist in the New Year, it passed in at auction,’ the model explained at the time.

The couple, who already have a five-year-old daughter, Tullulah, and a four-year-old son, Rocky, have often said they want a quieter, more private life.
