Jesinta and Buddy Franklin finally move into their new country estate as they count down the final days until welcoming their third child: ‘What we have dreamed of’

Jesinta and her husband, Lance Franklin, have settled into their countryside home in the Gold Coast Hinterland as they prepare for their third child.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old posted a photo on Instagram showing a moving truck parked outside their home.

She shared that this moment marks the start of everything they’ve been hoping for, and it feels unbelievable that they’re finally prepared to meet their baby.

‘Final load and our move is complete.’

The front of the home is lined with hedges, green trees and a long wooden fence.

She also posted a video of her children, five-year-old Tullulah and four-year-old Rocky, playing in the living room.

Jesinta and Buddy have often spoken about raising their family in the country.

The Franklins built their new home, Avonleigh Park, on a 3.2-hectare property along the Coomera River.

The main house, a modern farmhouse, sits on high ground overlooking beautifully kept lawns, ponds, and mature gardens.

The house is designed for comfortable family life, featuring several kitchens and dining spaces, a home office, and large, open areas that flow onto a spacious deck perfect for entertaining.

The deck opens to a covered outdoor lounge and a stunning infinity pool with views of the property, offering the homeowners a relaxing, resort-like experience away from the noise of the city they were hoping to leave behind.

The property is perfect for those dreaming of a small farm, complete with horse facilities like stables and a barn. It also includes a spacious chicken coop and raised garden beds, ready for planting your own fruits and vegetables.

Having the right to pump water directly from the river is another benefit, especially for those committed to farming or maintaining large landscapes.

This sale represents a major change for the couple, as they’ve finally sold their large Reedy Creek home, Villa Casa, after trying for some time.

This Mediterranean-style home, created by Reece Keil Design, included beautiful Spanish arches, tall windows, walls with a lime finish, and wooden floors. It also featured a large, resort-like pool, an outdoor entertainment area, and a separate guest house with two bedrooms.

In 2022, the Franklins purchased Villa Casa for $8.75 million and later put it on the market, hoping to sell it for around $10.9 million.

A family from Victoria bought the property, wanting a large block of land near highly-rated schools in the Hinterland.

Buddy, age 38, has often talked about his desire for a more relaxed lifestyle after retiring in 2023, which led to his decision to leave the city.

He recently shared with Stellar Magazine that he thoroughly enjoyed living in Sydney during his time with the Swans.

He explained that family life and the constant media attention led them to decide on a change. Once they had children, the city felt overwhelming, and he grew tired of constantly worrying about paparazzi.

Jesinta has expressed similar feelings, saying she and her family now value privacy and having space to raise their children more than attending glamorous events or enjoying an easy lifestyle.
