Jerome Flynn Shocks Fans with Stunning Red Carpet Return After Years of Seclusion!

On Wednesday evening, Jerome Flynn was accompanied by his family during the premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s Corteo at the Royal Albert Hall.

At the London spectacle that took place between January 9 and March 2, the well-known actor, along with his relatives, graced a seldom attended red carpet event.

In his current residence, a secluded farm in Pembrokeshire, Jerome, aged 61, maintains his professional life as both an actor and a producer.

In more recent times, his acting work includes portraying Banner Creighton in the Paramount+ western series titled “1923,” a role he has been playing since 2022.

He also makes an appearance in TV series The Change as Pig Man.

In the peak of his popularity, Jerome decided to leave his profession behind, stepping out of the limelight, and instead joined a spiritual community for a span of eight years.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, allow me to share a transformative experience in my journey: I was introduced to the teachings of the American spiritual guru, Andrew Cohen, and his Enlightenment movement, thanks to my acting companion, Linus Roache – son of Coronation Street legend William Roache. This serendipitous encounter marked a significant turning point in my life, almost overnight reshaping who I am and how I approach the world.

Jerome found himself deeply captivated by Cohen’s spiritual doctrines, which were essentially a blend of Hindu mysticism and Tibetan Buddhism tailored for Western audiences, and at the peak of his popularity, he decided to escape to Rishikesh, India, for a two-week retreat.

Upon his return to Britain in 1996, he fully immersed himself in Cohen’s religious circle, giving up his profession and relocating to a communal living space in North London with a band of like-minded followers, among them being his girlfriend at the time, Anna Jacobs.

According to Jerome himself, his spiritual life was remarkably intense, comparable to living as a monk for a span of eight years.

Eventually, Jerome, similar to Anna who had gone before him four years prior, found himself at the end of the journey with Cohen. He acknowledged that he came to believe Cohen was a figure akin to Christ and criticized his previous mentor for not discouraging such beliefs as forcefully as he felt should have been done.

Following the conclusion of his relationship with Anna and his departure from the organization, Jerome dedicated 18 months to reflecting on his life while renovating the Georgian farm he purchased in Pembrokeshire.

After the passing of his father due to cancer in 2002, Jerome has been working diligently to revitalize his professional life.

The subsequent year, he garnered exceptional praise for his solo theatre acts in a play titled “Tommy Cooper,” which was helmed by Simon Callow.

2011 marked Jerome’s grand return to television screens, as he took on the role of Bronn in the popular HBO show, Game of Thrones.

His performance in that show paved the way for him landing the role of Detective Sergeant Bennet Drake on Ripper Street, which he played from 2012 to 2016. Notably, this part also got him a BAFTA nomination.

In the year range of 2002 to 2003, Jerome was romantically involved with his Game of Thrones costar Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), and their relationship is reported to have been filled with ups and downs.

Initially, it was believed their relationship deteriorated significantly, leading to reports that they wouldn’t collaborate again. However, the actor has disputed this claim.
