Taylor Sheridan’s popular series are still doing well, despite the fact that his contract with Paramount ends in 2029. The latest season proves his shows are currently at their peak.
Nina became the new prison warden after the previous warden passed away during the third season. She appears to be an expert in turning around troubled prisons, but she refused to cooperate with Mike, who acted as a go-between for the gangs, police, and local politicians.
The scene begins with a short clip from Episode 5, “Damned.” While he tries to impress her with what he can do, Nina isn’t interested, reminding him of his troubled history. Despite her cold demeanor, Mike manages to have a surprisingly open and honest conversation with Nina – though she still declines his offer of assistance.
Throughout their discussion, Mike attempts to convince Nina to transfer Merle Callahan to the general prison population. Although he doesn’t succeed, Nina’s directness is a welcome change from her earlier indirect behavior, and it clarifies the nature of their relationship up to this point.
The latest episode of the show sees new players arriving in Kingstown, eager to take advantage of the power struggle after the Russians left. This forces Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) to take action and defend himself.
Mayor of Kingstown Has Been a Huge Hit Despite Mixed Reviews

Across its four seasons, Mayor of Kingstown has a 53% average rating from critics, but viewers generally enjoy it more, giving it a 79% rating.
The show’s first season received mixed reviews, with critics giving it a 33% rating while audiences loved it, scoring it 85%. Critics’ scores have gradually increased with each season. Season 2 saw a slight improvement to 50% from critics and 81% from audiences, and Season 3 brought both groups to a consensus with a 78% approval rating.
