Jeremy Clarkson reveals filming for series six Clarkson’s Farm could begin this week and halt his first TV break in forty years after sudden change of events

Jeremy Clarkson says filming for the popular Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm, might start this week thanks to a recent change in circumstances.

The 65-year-old presenter is taking a three-month break from television and other screens, something he hasn’t done in forty years.

Jeremy has announced that the recent snowfall makes it likely filming for the sixth season will begin soon, as they’ll need to get the cameras ready.

The UK is bracing for Storm Goretti, which is expected to bring up to eight inches of snow. An ice warning will be in effect across all of Britain on Wednesday.

This week, England and Wales can expect a storm bringing widespread snow, heavy rain, and strong winds, according to the Met Office.

The Home Counties could receive up to eight inches of snow on Thursday and Friday. The southwest of Britain is expected to experience the most severe stormy weather.

Jeremy, a farmer in the Cotswolds near Chipping Norton, explained that farm work is constant. As soon as one harvest is finished, they immediately begin preparing for the next planting season – there’s never a break.

Kaleb is currently in Australia filming a project, and I recently appeared on Millionaire Hot Seat. I was really hoping to use the opportunity to finally take a vacation, as it’s been a long time since I’ve had one.

Honestly, we’d finished up filming and I just said, ‘Let’s call it a wrap!’ But I also made a mental note – if we get snow, we can always pick things up again. The good news is, everyone – including Amazon and myself – is keen to do another series, a sixth one. And I already have a great concept in mind for it!

Jeremy says he’ll continue making Clarkson’s Farm as long as he has fresh ideas. He even thinks they could potentially make a seventh season, as he already has two promising concepts for future series.

Jeremy Clarkson, famous for his long run on Top Gear starting in 1988, has been working on several new television shows in recent years, including the popular Clarkson’s Farm.

In addition to starring in the documentary series Clarkson’s Farm, which shows his life running an Oxfordshire farm, Jeremy Clarkson also hosts the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? He recently finished working with his former Top Gear colleagues on The Grand Tour, which concluded in 2024.

Jeremy announced he’s taking a break from television for the first time in forty years, stepping away from filming his current shows.

He’s created a new show called Millionaire Hot Seat, based on the popular Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? format. It’s scheduled to air on ITV in early 2026.

At the premiere of his new show, Jeremy explained he needs to keep busy. He admitted he’s worried because, for the first time in forty years, he won’t be filming a TV show until March, and he anticipates those three months will be difficult.

Jeremy announced earlier in the year that he was pausing filming for the fifth season of his popular Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm.

The show, which began in 2021, documents Jeremy Clarkson, his wife Lisa Hogan, and their team as they work and struggle with the challenges of running Diddly Squat Farm.

I’ve noticed Jeremy’s stopped filming around the farm recently, and it’s because he started the pig breeding season a while back. He really prioritizes giving the pigs space during this time, so he’s put the cameras away for a bit.

The show’s fourth season was a huge hit, breaking viewership records and even winning a National Television Award for Best Factual Entertainment earlier in the year.

I’m so excited! Jeremy just confirmed that they’ve finished filming the next season! And even better, Kaleb, who’s 27, is back after taking a season off to tour. I was really missing him, so I can’t wait to see him on screen again!
