It’s fascinating to witness the transformation of their relationship from a casual meet at a Christmas party to the strong bond they share today. In a seldom-seen display, Jeremy Clarkson appeared just as smitten as always alongside his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, celebrating eight years since their initial encounter.

51-year-old Lisa, a previous actress, shared an Instagram post on Sunday, offering followers a peek into her life with her longtime partner, the 64-year-old ex-host of Top Gear, as they celebrated a significant event together.

In a delightful display of affection, Jeremy was spotted gently embracing his partner, both of them beaming for a photograph. Onlookers noticed this tender moment happening either on a boat or what appeared to be a lively party setting.

In contrast to how viewers of Clarkson’s Farm typically observe them putting in a lot of effort on their Oxfordshire farm, these images show the duo appearing content and carefree, spending quality moments together.

Captioning her snaps, Lisa penned: ‘8 years today I met @jeremyclarkson1’.

The duo, who collaborate on the Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm, started their relationship in 2017 following an introduction by mutual friends at a holiday gathering.

However, it wasn’t a case of love at first sight for Lisa; instead, she shared that the television personality had to put in effort to capture her affection over time.

In an interview with The Sun in June, she said, “When I realized he has a certain reputation, I figured he needed to win my favor.

She mentioned: “For approximately three months, he pursued me diligently!…he certainly puts in the effort to keep me entertained, something I truly value. We also have a good rapport.

Back in April, Lisa discussed her hopes of getting engaged to the outspoken  presenter. 

They conversed with The Sunday Times to talk about the upcoming revival, and during their conversation, the interviewer reminded them that they had talked about proposing while strolling together in an earlier broadcast.

When Jeremy mentioned he had a significant surprise for her, she inquired if it might be a proposal. However, instead of addressing her question, he acted as if he hadn’t heard and chose to reveal a willow tree that was miraculously regrowing after falling down.

Following her inquiry regarding the proposal, he replied: “Give me a moment to consider the proposal. I’m not quite prepared just yet.

Discussing the exchange, Lisa has now said: ‘I just thought I might surprise him.’

If inquired whether she seized the opportunity of Leap Year Day to pop the question, given it’s traditionally women who do so, she replied: “Jeremy may not realize I proposed, as he didn’t have his hearing aids on at that moment, so it’ll be our little secret.

Jeremy has been married twice before.

In 1989, he got married to his first wife, Alexandra James. However, their marriage lasted only six months, and they separated the next year, in 1990.

Jeremy went on to remarry as he found love with his second wife Frances Cain.

For over two decades, this pair stayed married, and during that time they had three offspring together: daughters Emily and Katya, along with their son Finlo.

That very same month, Jeremy playfully commented that Lisa was considering moving him into an assisted living facility once he turned 64 due to his supposed anxiety.

The Top Gear star revealed he was with a trip to ‘somewhere nice’ to celebrate his big day, but featured there was an ulterior motive .

Jeremy continued by expressing that fortunately, the unforeseen journey didn’t lead to a nursing home. He humorously added, “But I have a feeling such a day might be on the horizon.

In his The Sun article, he wrote that it was his birthday recently, and his girlfriend Lisa mentioned she had reserved “a pleasant place.

As the enchanting sounds filled the air, and she remained tight-lipped about our destination as we ventured deeper into the picturesque Cotswolds, a nagging apprehension began to grow within me: Could it be that she was leading me to an elderly care facility?

Before adding: ‘She didn’t. But the day is coming’.
