Jeremy Allen White to play Jabba the Hutt’s son in new Star Wars movie

As a gamer with a heart full of nostalgia for the Star Wars saga, I must say I’m absolutely thrilled about Jeremy Allen White’s role in “The Mandalorian & Grogu” movie! The news has brought back memories of my childhood, spent watching the original trilogy on VHS tapes and playing countless hours of Star Wars video games.

It’s been announced that Jeremy Allen White will take on an unanticipated part in the forthcoming “Star Wars” series titled “The Mandalorian & Grogu“.

As reported by Variety, the star from The Bear has secured a voice acting role for Jabba the Hutt’s son, who is called Rotta the Hutt.

Initially, the character was introduced in the “The Clone Wars” film way back in 2008, and later made a reappearance in the TV series titled “The Clone Wars.

In the upcoming series titled “The Mandalorian & Grogu“, Pedro Pascal will once again play the lead character, the bounty hunter from the The Mandalorian TV show. He’ll continue his interstellar journeys alongside Grogu. Plot details are still not fully disclosed.

Sigourney Weaver previously announced that she’s part of the upcoming film project, “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” as she shared with Deadline: “I will be portraying a character in this production. I recently had my initial encounter with Grogu for the first time.

“I’m filming that before I go to London for The Tempest [in the West End] at the end of the year.”

Initially, Disney unveiled plans for a spin-off movie back in January, with the mastermind behind “The Mandalorian” TV series, Jon Favreau, involved as both a co-writer and director of the project.

Favreau expressed his delight when the movie was unveiled, stating, “I’ve enjoyed spinning tales in the intricate universe George Lucas designed. It’s incredibly thrilling to imagine The Mandalorian and his trainee Grogu on the silver screen.

Beyond the realm of Star Wars, Jeremy Allen White will portray American music legend Bruce Springsteen in the forthcoming biopic titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere.

The movie focuses on the process of creating Bruce Springsteen’s groundbreaking 1982 solo album, Nebraska. As Director Scott Cooper stated, this album significantly influenced his creative perspective.

In a new twist, Jeremy Strong, famously known for his role in Succession, is set to portray Jon Landau, Springsteen’s long-time mentor and manager. Meanwhile, Stephen Graham, who made a name for himself on Peaky Blinders, has been chosen to play the role of Bruce Springsteen’s father in the upcoming project.

The upcoming film featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu, titled “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” is set for release in 2026. However, it seems there might be a slight misunderstanding as the title provided suggests the movie’s title is “Deliver Me From Nowhere” and it will be released in 2025 instead. To avoid confusion, I recommend clarifying that “The Mandalorian & Grogu” (2026) is the correct title for the film you intended to mention.
