Jeremy Allen White shocks fans with his singing voice as he stars as Bruce Springsteen in biopic

In the debut trailer for director Scott Cooper’s biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, released on Wednesday, Jeremy Allen White appeared and spoke very much like Bruce Springsteen while performing his iconic 1975 song “Born to Run.

As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement when it comes to the mesmerizing performance of the Bear star, who at 34 years old, has mastered the raw, raspy crooning reminiscent of the iconic 75-year-old heartland rock legend. Fans are left in a frenzy, debating fiercely in the comments section of 20th Century Studios’ Instagram post, questioning if the talent we’re witnessing is indeed a result of his own vocals or an uncanny mimicry that leaves us all in awe.

Instagram user @imstillhungrythough marveled: ‘The way he sounds on Born to Run!’

@vanessavelas it seems like it’s Jeremy doing the singing,” replied @ragamuffin_gunner, implying that if someone mistakes it for Bruce, then Jeremy must be really good at it.

Instagram user @xxxanishaxxx chimed in: ‘@todd.burge it’s Jeremy! I am an extra in the movie.’

@nickjmalf” said, “This performance feels as if Jeremy Allen White embodied Bruce Springsteen. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the movie.

@irishoberymi” expressed great enthusiasm about the casting choice for the role of Bruce, saying it was a perfect fit. They can’t wait to see it! (Translation: The selection of the actor playing Bruce was excellent; they nailed it. They can’t wait to see this.)

@idgee_t remarked, ‘The trailer sent shivers down my spine!’ About Jeremy, it’s as if he personifies Bruce in this!

And Instagram user @r251700 declared: ‘Oscar for Jeremy!’

Indeed, Jeremy took on the task of singing every song featured in the movie. He shared with the Associated Press last month, “Everything you hear is me – it’s all there. The filming and the vocal training are complete; I’ve accomplished it.

White remarked, “We completed the project in January, and both Bruce and his manager, Jon Landau, spent a considerable amount of time there. Their apparent joyfulness brought me joy as well.

As a dedicated follower, I found myself immersed in the big-screen portrayal of Warren Zanes’ 2023 biography, where I witnessed the birth of one of the first independently produced albums – Nebraska. This remarkable creation unfolded in my home in Colts Neck, NJ during the years 1981-1982, with the help of recording engineer Mike Batlan (portrayed by Paul Walter Hauser).

The 20-time Grammy winner emphasized that perfection isn’t necessary, rather, they aim for a setting that feels intimate and solo-like.

Bruce opted to work on remaking simple, folk tunes regarding regular working-class individuals alongside The E Street Band, yet in the end, he chose to publish the initial recordings instead.

In a simple, conversational manner, one could rephrase it as: Jon Landau, Springsteen’s long-term manager portrayed by Jeremy Strong, is depicted listening to a cassette and then sharing a tale about having a hole in the floor of his room from his childhood days.

According to Landau, it was unexpected that the floor, which should have been strong enough for standing, wasn’t sturdy enough for Bruce.

As a dedicated follower, I find myself in the role of a fixer, mending not just physical objects but also my own inner self. Currently, I’m fixing a hole in my floor, but symbolically, I am healing the fractures within me. Once I have accomplished this personal healing, I aspire to repair the world as a whole.

In a fresh rephrasing: Springsteen’s film “Deliver Me From Nowhere” set to premiere in U.S. cinemas on October 24 boasts an impressive cast including Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz.

Following the recognition garnered by A Complete Unknown, Elvis, and Bohemian Rhapsody – films that spotlighted Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Rami Malek during awards season – the biopic musical drama about The Boss will soon be released.

Bruce has released 21 studio albums spanning six decades and he’s sold over 140M records worldwide.

I, a devoted admirer, have had the extraordinary honor to be inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. The accolades continued as I was bestowed with the Kennedy Center Honors in 2009, followed by the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016. Most recently, in 2023, I was humbled to receive the National Medal of Arts. These recognition are a testament to my lifelong passion for music and storytelling.

Initially, viewers can subsequently see the two-time Emmy award winner stepping back into his iconic character as chef Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto in the highly anticipated 10-episode fourth season of Christopher Storer’s praised drama The Bear. This season will make its debut on Hulu on June 25.
