Jensen Ackles return confirmed for Tracker season 2
As a huge fan of “Tracker,” I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that Jensen Ackles will be reprising his role as Russell Shaw for more than one episode in the upcoming second season! The dynamic between Colter (Justin Hartley) and Russell is one of the most intriguing aspects of the show, and I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops further.
Tracker star Jensen Ackles is set to return for the show’s second season.
Based on Jeffery Deaver’s 2019 novel “The Never Game,” the CBS series centers around the character of Colter Shaw, portrayed by Justin Hartley from “This Is Us.” A skilled survivalist and tracker, Shaw assists both law enforcement agencies and individual clients for financial compensation.
In the second-to-last episode of season one, Ackles made a notable appearance as Shaw’s older brother, Russell, who was estranged from her.
At the Television Critics Association’s 2024 Press Tour on July 13, Hartley shared that the upcoming episodes of the show will delve deeper into the intriguing relationship between the two siblings. (TVLine reported this.)
I’m thrilled to share the news that Ackles is returning! Our team is having a blast working on this project. It’s an incredible story, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.
As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share that the show’s mastermind, Elwood Reid, has officially announced that Jensen Ackles will grace our screens with his presence for more than just a single episode. Yippee!
I feel like he’s part of our family. Whenever we ask him to meet us at a certain place and time, he always does. It’s just who he is.
In the new season of “Manifest,” viewers can anticipate additional family tension as actor Melissa Roxburgh reprises her role as Shaw’s younger sibling, Dory. Reid hints at further revelations, teasing, “We’ll delve deeper into his relationship with his sister.”
I’m thrilled to share that “Tracker,” my favorite show, smashed viewing records and took the title as the most-watched series on its network during the 2023-2024 season. Consequently, it was officially renewed for a second season!
During the recent Press Tour over the weekend, I was thrilled to hear directly from Reid that Shaw’s troubled family background will significantly influence the plot of season two.
If you’ve had experience with a dysfunctional family, you’re aware that facts can be distorted, and each person may perceive situations differently.
“What makes this intriguing to me is the varying experiences and backgrounds of these individuals, specifically concerning their upbringing and what transpired within their families, most notably with regard to their fathers.”
After reflecting on it, I found that Colter was the one who endured the most from the family’s turmoil.
Tracker’s second season will premiere on October 27 on CBS.
