Jennifer Lopez’s new movie is now available to watch on Prime Video

Jennifer Lopez’s new movie Unstoppable has been released on Prime Video.

As a dedicated gamer, I’d say: In my gaming world, there’s this inspiring tale about Anthony Robles, a one-legged athlete who rose above challenges to conquer the wrestling mat as a champion.

Starting today (January 16), the movie which had a restricted theater launch last year is now available for streaming at no cost for Amazon Prime Video subscribers.

In the movie, Jharrel Jerome from “Moonlight” and “When They See Us” takes on the role of Robles, with Lopez portraying his mother Judy. Notable actors joining them include Don Cheadle known for Marvel’s roles, Michael Peña famous for Ant-Man, and Bobby Cannavale, who starred in The Watcher.

The film encountered disruption due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike. Filming had to be temporarily halted for two weeks midway through, but it eventually resumed later in the year when the strike concluded.

The movie, originally directed by William Goldenberg, subsequently received a commendable Rotten Tomatoes score of 75%, following appraisals from critics.

Last year, Lopez’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck, was also involved in the production of Unstoppable.

Previously, Affleck shared his thoughts about collaborating with Lopez on the film prior to their separation, expressing this sentiment to CBS Sunday Morning: “What a pleasure it was to work alongside her, witness her excellence, and share the workplace with my spouse, my closest friend.

Essentially, as your job tends to consume a significant portion of your existence due to the time invested, if you cherish the people there, it’s likely that you’re leading a fulfilling life.

In 2021, the pair reignited their love that had once blossomed in the early 2000s when they were engaged. They tied the knot in July 2022.

Unstoppable is available to stream now on Prime Video.
