Jennifer Lopez’s ex Casper Smart has house raided by cops over cannabis grow operation
As a follower of pop culture, I find myself constantly intrigued by the twists and turns of celebrities’ lives, and Casper Smart’s recent situation is no exception. Having grown to prominence alongside Jennifer Lopez, his life has been a rollercoaster ride, from their glamorous globetrotting days to the alleged cannabis grow operation at his home.
Reflecting on my memories of Casper and Jennifer’s relationship, I can’t help but recall the fondness he expressed for his time with JLo, traveling the world as one of her backup dancers. Authorities are said to have searched Casper Smart’s house due to allegations that a marijuana cultivation site was found within his home.
In 2011 through 2016, it was reported that a man known as Smart dated Jennifer Lopez. Last week, authorities in Los Angeles executed a search warrant at his residence following a tip regarding a suspected marijuana cultivation facility, as per TMZ’s account.
On December 23rd, police executed a search warrant at Smart’s premises, after receiving a tip prior to that.
During the search, officers reportedly discovered a small-to-medium sized grow operation.
Casper, 37, was reportedly at the home with a woman at the time of the raid.
According to the report, Casper wasn’t arrested after the reported incident, but was given a citation by the officers and allowed to leave the scene instead.
The LA County DA’s Office is now deciding whether or not charges will be brought against Smart in this case.

According to laws set in California, individuals who are 21 years old or more can grow as many as six cannabis plants within or connected to their personal residences, as stated by the Los Angeles County Consumer & Business Affairs department.
The plants are required to be in a locked area and cannot be visible to the public.
Casper is managing not to let the raid spoil his vacation, since he’s now in Las Vegas, based on his Instagram posts.
Casper rose to fame around 2011 following the start of his romance with Jennifer, who is eighteen years older than him.
They dated until 2016, with a brief split in 2014.
They lived an extravagant, jet-setting lifestyle as a couple, and he often reminisces warmly about the times they spent traveling around the globe while he was one of Jennifer Lopez’s backup dancers during their romance.
He fondly recalled, during his interview with Entertainment Tonight, that it was a mix of exhausting yet delightful to traverse the globe over the course of six months, particularly with a companion, and experiencing the joy together.
Ever since their breakup, he has openly expressed positive feelings towards JLo and admitted that he was responsible for their separation.
He admitted he was not mature enough to be in a relationship with Jennifer, a mother of two.
‘I was very young and selfish,’ he admitted to Univision.
He mentioned that he believed he was prepared for a romantic involvement with Jennifer, who is a mother to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme from her previous marriage with Marc Anthony.
Since their split, Casper has been romantically involved with Bre Tiesi, who is now one of the six women bearing Nick Cannon’s total of 12 children.
His latest Instagram post indicates he’s seeing a new woman.
After her split, Jennifer started a new relationship with Alex Rodriguez. They got engaged in the year 2019, but unfortunately, they called it quits in 2021.
