Jennifer Lopez is once again active in her career – informing her followers that she’s set to perform on stage for her initial tour in half a decade, merely days following the hint of a new track that seems to target her former spouse, Ben Affleck.

On the eve of Independence Day, the 55-year-old renowned figure revealed an audacious new style for beauty. On Monday, she used Instagram to offer a sneak peek into the rehearsal process for the launch of her Up All Night tour in Spain.

Clad in a sparkling biker cap and beaming her radiant grin, Jennifer Lopez commanded attention as she confidently walked through the venue, the illuminated concert stage serving as a backdrop.

She has recently adopted a more avant-garde makeup style, as evidenced by her choice to complement her attire with smoky eyeshadow and a deep mauve lipstick.

The post arrives swiftly following an exclusive listening event, during which Lopez shared six fresh tunes with a select group of 30 fans—one rumored to be about her breakup with Affleck.

The concert series is Lopez’s first tour since 2019’s It’s My Party. 

Initially, she intended to come back on stage for “This Is Me Live” in 2024; however, the tour got called off, allowing her more time to be with her kids, loved ones, and intimate circle of friends instead.

Following the completion of her concerts across Europe, she will travel to Las Vegas where she has a short residency scheduled at Caesars Palace from December 30 to January 3.

Just last week, a renowned artist hosted an intimate gathering in Los Angeles for thirty fortunate fans to be among the first to hear six fresh tracks played. One of these tunes seemed to suggest a reference to her separation from Ben Affleck.

2022 saw the remarriage of the once-split pair, having revived their relationship. However, last August marked a significant event when Lopez filed for divorce – coincidentally, on their second anniversary as husband and wife.

At an intimate event, as reported by Us Weekly, a guest named Edgardo Luis Rivera shared his newest songs with everyone present.

One of the songs was named “Wreckage Of You,” and Rivera explained that Lopez often contemplated the word “wreck” due to its association with destruction, yet she herself wasn’t annihilated. Instead, the song’s lyrics convey: “I’ve grown stronger from the aftermath of you.

He mentioned, “‘Wreckage of You” is a pop ballad that she shared with us, saying she co-wrote and recorded it just two weeks prior.

She mentioned that she had the inspiration for a new song while resting in bed following an exhausting day of rehearsals for the tour.

Edgardo continued by saying, “She shared that the previous year was incredibly challenging for her, not only in her personal life but also in her professional one. As a result, she was forced to postpone her tour and devote more attention to her own well-being.

A little over a year ago, I made the tough decision to postpone my “This Is Me… Live” tour, an event that was scheduled to commence just before my 55th birthday milestone.

According to reports from DailyMail.com, Live Nation representatives have declared that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour titled “THIS IS ME…LIVE” has been called off.

‘Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,’ it was added.

Lopez expressed her own feelings as being deeply saddened and overwhelmed by the cancellation, yet she emphasized that it was an absolute necessity.

A source confided to DailyMail.com that Jennifer is temporarily stepping away to spend quality time with her loved ones. This challenging choice, made by Jennifer this week, regrettably includes letting down her fans.

Another fan who had attended the listening party offered their thoughts on Wreckage Of Me. 

The song is described as being incredibly moving and uplifting, telling the story of ending a relationship but emerging as a more powerful individual.

Alongside these, Lopez performed an extra five tunes labeled: “Birthday,” “Free,” “Up All Night,” “Save Me Tonight,” and “Regular.

Edgardo clarified that the four songs had a livelier, enjoyable vibe, reminiscent of Jennifer’s classic musical style. At one instance during the playback of Birthday, the audience became quite excited.

Jennifer has been keeping busy as she prepares for her international summer tour.

Nevertheless, the forthcoming concerts have faced numerous challenges due to fan outrage resulting from repeated date adjustments.

In May, the star revealed her plans to resume a Las Vegas residency, titled “Up All Night Live,” later on.

She’ll perform on specific dates, starting from December 30 and running until March of the following year, at The Colosseum located within Caesars Palace.

Recently, when she chatted with folks, the woman shared her enthusiasm for a carefree and joyful summer – following the finalization of her divorce from Affleck back in January.

I’m thrilled about the upcoming tour! What really gets me pumped is participating in Pride events first. I’m genuinely looking forward to that experience. As we speak, I’m also busy working on the show and designing the tour itself. I can hardly wait to get back out there!

The performer added, ‘It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.

Currently, my life feels incredibly vibrant and wholesome, and I’m eager to step into the world to inspire joy and movement among others – whether it’s through song or dance. Sharing happiness has always been my aim.

During the Fourth of July weekend, Lopez enjoyed some sweet cupcakes and shared pictures of the beautifully decorated treats on Instagram.

Last week, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was found not guilty of the gravest allegations in his New York trial, which included racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

However, the jury determined the rapper was guilty for two offenses related to arranging prostitution. The judge presiding over the trial has mandated that he remain in custody until his sentencing hearing slated for October this year.
