Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘planned’ their divorce and went ‘through all the details’ BEFORE singer officially filed
As someone who has watched celebrity relationships unfold for decades, I can say that the news of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s divorce doesn’t come as a surprise, but it’s still a bit disappointing. They were the epitome of Hollywood love stories, and it seems their second time around didn’t work out as they hoped.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appear to have made arrangements for a divorce prior to J-Lo formally filing this week on their wedding anniversary, which happened to be Tuesday.
Actress from Atlas, aged 55, planning to appear at the debut of her film ‘Unstoppable’ alongside her non-Oscar winning partner, also 52, has filed for divorce after just two years of matrimony, choosing to do so without a lawyer or prenuptial agreement.
Yet, according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly on Friday, the separated pair were said to have already discussed and gone over the specifics of their parting ways.
‘They had already agreed to these terms before she filed,’ the insider continued to the outlet.
Jennifer went ahead and filed the documents as they had both agreed, and it was her decision to do so in the end.
The expensive $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills, bought just last year, is one of the financial complications they face during their separation.
After completing renovations on a large estate, the property was put up for sale in July with an asking price of $68 million.
From my fervent perspective, I can assure you there’s no room for debate. Neither party is hankering for more than the other. They both strode in with a substantial cache of personal resources to play this game of theirs.
