Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘are being pushed to reunite’ at premiere of their film Unstoppable in 2 WEEKS… after she filed for divorce
As a die-hard fan of Hollywood romance and drama, I find myself captivated by the latest turn of events surrounding Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Their upcoming film, Unstoppable, set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, has me on the edge of my seat, not just for the movie itself, but for the potential reunion of these two iconic stars.
Despite filing for divorce this past Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck find themselves with only a few weeks left before they need to promote their upcoming film titled “Unstoppable.”
The upcoming film titled “Unstoppable” has been scheduled to debut in the Special Presentations segment at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024. Afterwards, it will have a limited run in cinemas starting from December 2024, distributed by Amazon MGM Studios.
Now, it appears that some film producers are trying to arrange for both individuals to attend the premiere in Toronto, with the intention of generating excitement about the movie.
The movie originates at Artists Equity, a joint venture founded by Ben Affleck and his long-standing buddy Matt Damon from Ben’s production company. At 51 years old, Affleck and the 53-year-old Damon are among the fourteen individuals serving as producers on this film.
Lopez, aged 55, is among the actors taking on the role of a wrestler’s mother, and she collaborated on the production of this project alongside her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.
The Amazon MGM Studios film wrapped production this past January.
Jennifer and Ben separated in April.
Previously, they acted alongside each other in the movies “Gigli” from 2003 and “Jersey Girl” from 2004. Additionally, he has been featured in one of her films titled “This Is Me… Now.”
The movie “Unstoppable” focuses on the life story of Anthony Robles, a wrestler born without a full leg, who went on to win a national title in 2011 during his time at Arizona State University.
In the production, actor Jharrel Jerome known for his role in Moonlight takes on the character of Robles. The ensemble also features Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle, and Michael Peña in their respective roles.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the film “Unstoppable”! This masterpiece is directed by none other than William Goldenberg, a genius who has previously collaborated with my favorite actor, Affleck. Their most recent partnership was for the 2023 blockbuster “Air,” but let’s not forget their successful collaboration on “Argo” back in 2012. I simply can’t wait to see what they’ve created together again!
Ben and Jennifer have another movie they worked on together: Kiss Of The Spiderwoman.
The story is derived from Manuel Puig’s novel with the same title and unfolds in an Argentinian prison back in 1981. Lopez portrays the main character, Aurora, who is a fictional woman imagined by Luis Molina (Tonatiuh), a homosexual hairdresser serving an eight-year term for supposedly corrupting a minor.
Affleck and Damon are among the co-producers through Artists Equity.
Affleck was asked by CBS Sunday Mornings in March 2023 about collaborating with Lopez on the film.
He expressed his delight, it’s such a pleasure to engage in activities with her, witnessing her excel, and working side by side with my wife, or my dearest friend, he remarked.
If you find yourself struggling with your work associates and encountering difficulties at your job, it could potentially lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, and discomfort, according to him.
‘And conversely, [if] you love the people at work, you probably have a pretty good life, you know?
Affleck remarked during the interview that, while it may not seem so, she is indeed doing it as a favor for him.
Ben and Jen wed in Las Vegas in July 2022.
As a devoted fan, if the opportunity presents itself for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck to collaborate on a project again, I’d eagerly hope it would be something truly exceptional.
‘I mean, we love working together and being together, so maybe,’ she added.
On Tuesday morning, Ben was spotted out and about with his former spouse, Jennifer Garner, and their child, Fin. The trio had just dropped off their oldest child, Violet (aged 18), at college.
Hours later Lopez filed for divorce. It was her two year wedding anniversary with him.
