Jennifer Lopez, 56, refused entry into Chanel store after security ‘failed to recognise her’

On a Monday in Istanbul, Turkey, the security team at a Chanel store in Istinye Park did not identify Jennifer Lopez, resulting in her being denied entry.

Following the incident where the 56-year-old singer was not allowed entrance at an exclusive store, it is said that she headed to the neighboring shop and reportedly splurged numerous amounts of money over a span of three hours.

She circled the shopping mall, intending to step into the store when a guard informed her that it was already at capacity.

Unfazed by the snub, Jennifer said ‘Okay, no problem’, before walking into a different store.

According to Turkish media reports, Jennifer Lopez was subsequently warmly received at Celine and Beymen, where she is said to have made some significant purchases.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but notice the stunning snapshots where she gracefully donned a coordinated ensemble of blushing pink. Her look was accentuated by a pair of fashionable, oversized sunglasses that added to her aura of sophistication. The images also revealed her being shielded by her dedicated security detail, ensuring her every move was protected.

According to a music industry source, Jennifer has undeniable success and talent, yet finding a record label that shares her vision has been challenging.

Initially denied access, Chanel ultimately decided to invite the woman back into their store once they recognized who she was, but Jennifer Lopez chose not to accept the invitation.

Daily Mail has contacted JLo’s representatives for comment.

Jennifer Lopez is at the moment embarked on her “Up All Night Live” concert tour for 2025, during which she has showcased some bold and energetic dance routines.

After her performance, Jennifer shared on Instagram some video clips from the concert and wrote: ‘ISTANBUL! You were an incredible fully booked audience tonight.’

As reported by The Sun, Jennifer is currently working as an individual artist and has chosen to release her latest single “Birthday” through a more compact music company following her separation from her previous record label.

The 2024 album “This Is Me… Now” by her was published through BMG, a label also representing renowned artists such as Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora.

Instead, the report stated that the agreement was limited to a single album release. Unfortunately, due to poor sales, both parties decided to part ways.

Following the release of her latest album, a decision was made that she would no longer collaborate with BMG due to its lack of the desired level of success.

As a devoted devotee, I must share that my latest release didn’t quite hit the top spot in the UK, settling at No55. However, my team and I are determined to press onward, creating fresh melodies that resonate. This year has found me immersed in countless hours of studio work, eagerly crafting new tunes that I hope will find a place in your hearts and playlists.

It comes after the singer took to the stage for an electric performance at the Regnum Carya Hotel.

This particular evening carried extra importance since it served as a prelude to the birthday celebration of the celebrated figure, who recently turned 56 in the previous month.

Jennifer shared with El Pais in May that parting ways with Ben Affleck was a challenging period, yet she emerged stronger from it. “I take pride in myself for getting through that tough time, and I’m proud that I could guide my children through difficult moments as well. They’ve become stronger and better because of it.
