Jennifer Lawrence hysterically reveals she and equally embarrassed co-star Robert Pattinson perform a NAKED interpretive dance in their new movie: ‘It was totally humiliating!’

Okay, so I just heard something *really* interesting about Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson’s new film, ‘Die My Love’! Apparently, they have a scene where they do a completely naked interpretive dance together. Yes, you read that right! It’s definitely going to be a memorable moment in the movie, and honestly, I’m intrigued to see how it plays out. It sounds like they really committed to pushing boundaries with this one!

The 35-year-old Oscar winner shared the story on The Graham Norton Show, which will be broadcast on Friday, calling it a ‘totally humiliating’ experience.

Die My Love is adapted from a 2017 novel by Argentine author Ariana Harwicz. It tells the story of a new mother struggling with postpartum depression that escalates into psychosis.

I was absolutely cracking up when I heard Jennifer talk about working with Lynne Ramsay! Apparently, the director really pushed us during rehearsals – Rob Pattinson and I even had to take interpretative dance lessons together. Honestly, we’re both pretty easily embarrassed, and we didn’t know each other well at all, so it was completely mortifying for both of us!

On the first day of shooting, she quizzed us about our previous work and then shockingly asked if we’d be willing to perform nude!

Bruce Springsteen, Jeremy Allen White, and Tessa Thompson, who were also guests on the show, looked surprised and confused. Jennifer playfully responded, ‘Was I not supposed to say that? You all seem really shocked!’

She explained how she got the part: Martin Scorsese suggested the project after reading the book with his book club, which she found charming.

He told me to take the role. I struggled to picture the story as a film when I first read the book, but I wasn’t about to disagree with Marty!

Jennifer plays Grace, a new mom struggling with her mental health as her marriage falls apart. Robert, age 39, stars as her husband, Jackson, in the film.

The actress shared that becoming a mother has completely shifted how she views her work, calling motherhood both ‘brutal and incredible.’

She added: ‘Well, having children changes everything.

It completely transforms your life – it’s both incredibly challenging and amazing. Because of this, every decision about my work – what I do, where I do it, and when – is carefully considered.

It showed me a capacity for feeling I never knew I had. Since my work often involves dealing with emotions, this was particularly impactful. It’s been a truly expansive experience, leaving me feeling incredibly sensitive – almost raw, like a blister.

Having children has definitely improved my life and sparked my creativity. If you’re an actor, I wholeheartedly recommend becoming a parent.

This movie marks the first collaboration between Jennifer and Robert. Robert, who became a father last year with his partner Suki Waterhouse, shared similar feelings with his co-star.

You know, he really hit the nail on the head. Becoming a parent, surprisingly, has given *me* this incredible boost of energy and so much inspiration. It’s like a whole new wellspring of creativity and drive I never knew I had!

Becoming a parent has completely changed how I think about my job. We’ve finished your assignment – could you come over here, please?

Both Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson became famous in the early 2010s. Lawrence starred as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies, while Pattinson gained international recognition for playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight films.

Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for an Oscar four times, and she won Best Actress in 2013 for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. That remains her only Oscar win.

Twelve years after winning her first Academy Award, Jennifer is receiving positive reviews for a new film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17th, potentially putting her in contention for another Oscar.

Though Robert and the rest of the cast, including Sissy Spacek, have received praise for their performances, Jennifer’s portrayal of a mentally vulnerable wife and mother is particularly remarkable.

As a lifestyle and awards season observer, I’m already hearing buzz from Cannes about this actress! Critics are predicting she could be a serious contender at the 2026 Oscars. It’s been a while – twelve years since her last win and ten since her last nomination – so building a compelling story about her return will be key. But honestly? The role itself feels tailor-made for Oscar consideration – it’s exactly the kind of performance the Academy loves.

The film *Die, My Love* came out on May 17th and will be available in cinemas across the UK and Ireland starting November 14, 2025.
