Jennifer Lawrence calls out ‘annoying’ Kourtney Kardashian: ‘She drives me nuts’

Jennifer Lawrence jokingly criticized Kourtney Kardashian while talking about how much she enjoys watching reality television.

I was fascinated by a recent Vanity Fair interview with the incredibly talented 35-year-old Oscar winner! She’s been hinting at some personal struggles lately, and she really opened up while doing a lie detector test with her ‘Die My Love’ co-star, Robert Pattinson. It was a surprisingly revealing conversation!

The actress, known for her role in The Hunger Games, has often talked about enjoying reality TV, especially shows like the Real Housewives.

The Twilight star once asked, ‘You’ve mentioned you enjoy reality TV. Are you still watching The Kardashians?’

Lawrence hesitated for a moment before saying he wouldn’t be participating this season. He acknowledged being on TikTok, but clarified that wasn’t relevant to his decision.

Pattinson showed a photo of Khloe Kardashian and asked if she was the actress’s favorite. Before he could even finish asking, she immediately replied, ‘Yes!’

She then added, ‘Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts.’

‘Why? Who…,’ Pattinson replied, prompting Lawrence to explain her feelings.

It feels like people need to make a big deal out of everything. For example, someone might say, “I’ve decided to stop putting effort into my clothes.” Why announce it? Just wear what makes you comfortable without drawing attention to it.

The celebrity went on to say, “It’s like, if you don’t have a TV in your room, just don’t mention it! There’s no need to point it out.”

Lawrence has mentioned before that she enjoys watching the Kardashians. She shared that she started watching the show while filming her 2017 movie, the horror mystery Mother!

You know, I really hit a creative wall while working on this film. I was in such a tough spot, feeling really down, that I needed something completely different to pull me out of it. That’s when I decided to bring the Kardashians into the mix – it was a way to shake things up and find a new direction!

It wasn’t a face-to-face interaction, of course! I filmed this one scene, and it was the first time I’d ever explored such a dark and disturbing role. I’d never done anything so horrifying before.

She explained that she began to feel frightened a few days prior and decided she needed a tent to protect herself, as she wasn’t sure how she’d cope without it.

It was basically a computer displaying photos and information about the Kardashians, including pictures of them and my own private notes about my interactions with them. I’m not going to share those notes, though, because I don’t want to risk upsetting anyone – they’re just my personal thoughts and feelings.

In 2024, Variety reported that Jennifer Lawrence agreed to lead a murder mystery film for Apple Original Films and A24, drawing inspiration from the Real Housewives franchise.

I was so excited to hear Jennifer Lawrence talk about being a fan of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City! She mentioned it during an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, and as a fellow fan, I completely understood her enthusiasm. It’s awesome to know someone like her enjoys the show as much as I do!

She told the publication that it was the best reality TV finale she’d ever watched.

Lawrence said she was completely stunned by the finale, so engrossed that she didn’t even bother to check her phone.

While working on her upcoming comedy-thriller, Die My Love, the actress revealed she decided to participate in reality television again.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Lawrence was asked how she likes to relax after filming.

I was so relieved when ‘Secret Lives of Mormon TikTokers’ dropped all at once on Hulu! It meant I could binge-watch everything right away, instead of waiting for new episodes each week. It was perfect for me – no problem at all!

In Die My Love, Lawrence also stars alongside Robert Pattinson, Sissy Spacek and LaKeith Stanfield.

Okay, so, I’ve been waiting forever for this movie! It finally came out on November 7th, and honestly, it’s based on this incredible book called ‘Die, My Love’ by Ariana Harwicz – I’ve read it like five times! It’s this dark, funny, totally messed-up story, and seeing it on the big screen was… everything.

In the Lynne Ramsay-directed film, Jennifer Lawrence plays Grace, a young mother struggling with postpartum psychosis.

The actress recently explained her decision not to use an intimacy coordinator while filming a movie with Robert Pattinson.

She explained on the Las Culturistas podcast that they either didn’t have someone dedicated to coordinating intimate scenes, or if they did, that person wasn’t very involved.

‘I felt really safe with Rob. He is not pervy and very in love with [his partner] Suki Waterhouse.’

The celebrity shared that they built a strong bond with the other person, explaining they connected by talking openly about their families and relationships.

I never really worried about whether he was interested in me romantically. If I had, I probably would have requested someone to help manage those kinds of interactions.

The mother of two explained that some male actors react badly when someone isn’t interested in a sexual relationship with them, and can become vindictive as a result. She emphasized that this particular actor wasn’t like that at all.

Lawrence also has nude scenes in the film and shared that being pregnant with her second child boosted her confidence during filming.

She explained that she wasn’t bothered by nudity and wanted the director, Lynne, to have complete artistic control.

Lawrence recently discussed how she handled nude scenes differently in her 2023 romantic comedy, No Hard Feelings.

Becoming pregnant actually relieved a lot of my pressure to look a certain way. Before I started working on ‘No Hard Feelings,’ I was really focused on dieting, avoiding carbs, and exercising constantly.

The actress explained that she was pregnant while filming ‘Die My Love.’ She said she couldn’t just stop eating or working, as she was already putting in 15-hour days and was simply exhausted.

In addition to her work on ‘Die My Love,’ Lawrence will soon appear in Martin Scorsese’s film version of ‘What Happens At Night’.
