Jennifer Garner spends time with boyfriend John Miller while ex Ben Affleck looks glum in LA

Over the weekend, Jennifer Garner and her partner John Miller had a delightful time together during a relaxed outing, which Jennifer later shared on social media.

On a Sunday, the 53-year-old actress seemed quite excited while sharing a hearty chuckle with her longtime on-and-off companion of seven years.

She kept it casual as she stepped out of his pickup truck for a morning stroll.

Elektra the star opted for comfort by wearing a long-sleeved, buttery yellow t-shirt that matched with navy blue leggings. She completed her outfit with green socks and a pair of black running shoes.

She covered her eyes from the sun using a large denim-blue cap that resembled a baseball hat and big sunglasses, while she chuckled with her boyfriend, who appeared to be ready for a more laid-back event than her – at one moment.

Simultaneously, Ben Affleck appeared somber during a solo city outing, following the release of Jennifer Lopez’s poignant song touching on their divorce.

With a serious demeanor, he emerged into the bustling city, clutching his car keys, phone, and a packet of cigarettes.

To suitably dress for his standalone appearance, the actor portraying Batman chose to wear a blue buttoned shirt on top of a white undershirt, casually rolling up the sleeves in anticipation of the summer’s warmth.

His business casual outfit also comprised of dark jeans and matching Jordan sneakers.

He was seen walking through a busy alley while running errands. 

It seemed he was in a somber state, possibly due to the fact that his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, had just released a song concerning their divorce, characterizing their marriage as ‘ruins’ or ‘remnants’.

Additionally, he finds himself entangled in domestic troubles within their marriage, as their $60 million mansion remains unsold despite being on the market for a full year.

Since then, he has also been hunting for a pad closer to his ex Jennifer Garner for their kids. 

For ten years, they were married, but split up in 2015. Their union produced three adolescent children: Violet (age 19), Fin (age 16), and Samuel (age 13).

She has been dating Miller since 2018, the same year her divorce with Affleck was finalized. 

In August, Lopez chose to file for divorce from her fourth spouse on the day that marked their second wedding anniversary.

The breakdown of their marriage marked the end result of numerous whispers over several months, hinting at the impending doom of their union.

In February, JLo released an album and a film musical titled “This Is Me…”. This new work serves as a tribute to Affleck, a continuation of her 2002 album “This Is Me… Then”, written and produced during their initial romance that unfortunately ended.

It seems she’s back to writing about him in her songs, as evident in the track titled “Wreckage of You,” which she performed during the listening party.

One of the attendees, Edgardo Luis Rivera, mentioned that JLo frequently found herself contemplating the term “wreck” due to its connotation of destruction, yet she was not devastated. Interestingly enough, the song’s lyrics go: “I am stronger after the wreckage you left behind.” (Source: Us Weekly)

Edgardo shared that ‘You’s Wreckage’ is a pop ballad which she revealed that she co-wrote and recorded just two weeks ago. He said she had the inspiration for the song while lying in bed after a tiring day of tour rehearsals.

He pointed out that she shared her struggles from the previous year, which were deeply personal and professional in nature. Consequently, she had to postpone her tour and devote more attention to herself.

Presently, the previous spouses face difficulties selling their matrimonial house following their purchase of a mansion worth around $60.8 million in cash, approximately a year after they became a couple in May 2023.

The next year rolled around, and they decided to put their house on the market for a price tag of $68 million in July. However, their attempts to sell it privately earlier didn’t work out.

In an attempt to unload the property, they eventually reduced its price by a substantial $8 million.

As reported by the source, it appears that the extensive property has been taken off the market, as indicated by the latest real estate records, according to People.

Recently, an insider shared with the Daily Mail that Ben and JLo have significantly reduced the price of their Beverly Hills property by approximately $8 million compared to what they initially paid. However, this price drop seems inconsequential to Ben.

It was noted that he desperately wants this to be sold, as doing so would sever the last tie connecting him with Jennifer.

Last Sunday, Affleck was out searching for bachelors’ homes in the Brentwood area, which is not too far from Garner’s $7.8M four-bedroom residence in Brentwood Park.

For about a year now, Affleck has owned a luxurious $20.5M five-bedroom house in Brentwood, following his separation from his second wife, Jennifer, after finalizing the property transaction through escrow.

Currently, Jennifer is embarking on a home renovation project for her recently acquired $17.5 million, five-bedroom house in the exclusive neighborhood of Hidden Hills.

According to DailyMail’s source, disagreements arose in Ben and Jennifer’s marriage due to their joint residence, as Ben initially had reservations about spending so much on the property.

The person close to the couple stated that while Jennifer will continue to be a significant part of Ben’s life through their children’s friendship, this house stands as the final tangible reminder of their marriage.
