Jennifer Garner shows off her philanthropic side by delivering food as part of her A Million Meals program

Jennifer Garner was seen in Los Angeles on Sunday volunteering to help people in need.

The 53-year-old actress was seen volunteering with A Million Meals, a program that provides healthy food to children in communities where many families struggle with hunger.

This program is a partnership between Jennifer’s Once Upon a Farm and the charity Save The Children.

Jennifer, recently discussed by her ex-husband Ben Affleck, was dressed comfortably for some work in a green sweatshirt and gray-blue camouflage leggings.

The actress, known for her role in Juno, looked happy and wore bright purple sneakers with striped socks. She also had on a red baseball cap that covered her long hair.

A photo showed her and another woman carrying a large box filled with brown paper bags containing meals as part of a delivery service.

Jennifer co-founded Once Upon a Farm in 2015 with Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz. Their goal, as stated on the company’s website, was to make baby food that was healthier, easier to use, and tastier.

The company says its organic baby food and snacks are made with ingredients inspired by the fruits and vegetables grown on Garner’s family farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, which has been operating since 1936.

Okay, so last week she *posted* about being on a farm – pictures and videos of her actually driving tractors and helping with everything! It was amazing. I’m totally geeking out trying to figure out if it’s *her* family’s farm, but she hasn’t said anything about that yet. I need to know!

On the red carpet, Affleck gently put his arm around her waist and was later seen whispering something to her.

The Academy Award-winning actor complimented his former wife’s work in the film, telling Extra, ‘She’s fantastic in it.’

I’m thrilled for everyone to finally see the movie. I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out – it’s one of the best projects I’ve ever worked on. And I’m really happy to be here with you all tonight.

He added, ‘She just was going to give it her all and she did. She worked enormously hard. 

‘You get to see all of her many gifts. She’s somebody that grew up watching classic musicals.’

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck remarried in 2022, but Lopez filed for divorce just two years later, on their wedding anniversary. The divorce was completed in January of this year.

Late last month on CBS Sunday Morning, Lopez shared how Affleck decided to fund the musical drama through his production company, Artists Equity, with the help of his friend Matt Damon.

She explained that the movie simply wouldn’t exist without his help and the support of Artists Equity, and she’ll always be grateful for that.

They provided the funding. I explained to him that this was my dream role and I was eager to take it on, and he agreed and made it possible.

The film *Kiss of the Spider Woman* also features performances by Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, Bruno Bichir, and Josefina Scaglione.

The musical – which was written and directed by Bill Condon – is set to hit theaters on October 10.
