Jennifer Garner showed her playful side in a new post shared via Instagram on Sunday.
The 53-year-old actress, recently seen with her boyfriend John Miller, participated in a popular online trend where people are posting unedited photos of themselves.
She connected with her 17.2 million followers by sharing a short video featuring honest, unpolished moments.
‘Oh, well,’ she captioned the post.
I was immediately captivated! She looked absolutely stunning in that first clip – all dolled up with a gorgeous full face of makeup and this incredible strapless black dress. She really knows how to work it!
I think we’ve all been there – you’re feeling good, maybe even a little confident, and then… someone shows you a photo! I recently saw a post that perfectly captured this feeling. It started with the relatable line, ‘Felt pretty but then I opened my friend’s camera roll,’ and then it just unleashed a series of wonderfully un-flattering pictures. It’s a hilarious reminder that real life isn’t always Instagram-perfect, and that’s okay!

One photo showed the silver screen star napping on a couch while letting a pedicure dry.
Others showed her pouring food items into her mouth, including a bag of chips.
There were also throwback photos of Garner in what appeared to be high school-era portraits.
She shared a meme from the show Alias, playfully distorting her character, Sydney Bristow, with exaggerated and unusual proportions.
Garner’s post has so far collected nearly 500,000 likes.
Musician Debbie Gibson commented, ‘You on a bad day is better than most ❤️.’
And Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks’ wife, added, ‘The best because JOY is all over this!’
One fan commented, praising the performer as authentic and saying, ‘We need more of this on social media!’

Jennifer Garner and her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, have three children: 20-year-old Violet, 17-year-old Fin (who will turn 17 on January 6th), and 13-year-old Samuel.
In a 2024 interview with People magazine she opened up about parenting.
‘They’re really solid right now,’ she said about her brood.
As they navigate this new chapter and decide on their futures, I find myself completely captivated by them. I’m endlessly fascinated by everything they do and who they’re becoming,” the proud mother shared.
She went on to admit that it’s ‘so hard’ letting them make their own choices.
My parents were the same way, and it really strikes me now. I often struggle to keep from telling them what I think they are like or what I believe they should do.
‘I really have to sit on my hands,’ she explained of practicing restraint.
