During a recent interview on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, ‘Not Gonna Lie,’ 53-year-old actress Jennifer Garner openly discussed topics like Botox and whether she might consider a facelift in the future.

Jennifer Garner, who shares three children – Violet (20), Seraphina (17), and Samuel (14) – with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, has tried cosmetic injectables before, but didn’t like the way they looked on her.

I’ve experimented with things like Botox, but even a small amount completely paralyzes my forehead,” she said. “It makes me feel really self-conscious, like everyone can tell something’s been done.

It’s so bad, I feel like I could just get a tattoo to cover it up! Sadly, Botox in my forehead just doesn’t work for me.

However, it was Jennifer Garner’s admission that she’s considered a facelift that really surprised people – she shared that her children have actually pleaded with her not to get cosmetic surgery.

My children have jokingly begged me not to ever get a facelift, and I’ve told them it’s not something I’m planning to do anytime soon.

‘And yet I refuse to make that promise because I am me today, and I don’t know how I’m gonna feel.’

Even though she’s generally comfortable with getting older, the actress confessed she still sometimes feels insecure about aging.

She admitted she has wrinkles and has decided to embrace them. ‘They’re just going to have to be there,’ she said with honesty, adding that she sometimes gets bangs to help with them.

Garner admitted she hasn’t had plastic surgery, but she does regularly visit a dermatologist for skincare.

She wanted to assure everyone she hadn’t had any cosmetic surgery. She explained she would be upfront if she had, and confirmed she hadn’t had any procedures at all.

Once a year, I visit a dermatologist, and it feels like they’re poking and prodding at my face. Interestingly, I’ve realized that the more work a dermatologist does, the less noticeable the results are. It’s like the treatments become so subtle you can’t really tell anything has been done.

It’s strange, but I actually feel good about this. I’m not sure why, but I’d happily pay a lot of money just to be able to say, “I don’t want to experience that.”

Even though she had some personal doubts about certain treatments, Garner made it clear she doesn’t criticize anyone for making different choices.

She believes that people are beautiful when they freely express themselves and do what makes them happy.
