Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, is now selling his New York City apartment for $1.5 million, after previously trying to rent it out, according to the Daily Mail.
The hypnotherapist, age 50, has been dating the Friends actress for a year and may make around $250,000 from selling his downtown apartment. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit is located in the South Seaport district and offers great views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The apartment, listed for $1,525,000 and first appearing online on January 27th, has been available for rent on and off for several months before being put up for sale. It’s a 1,200-square-foot condo.
This large apartment was originally offered for rent at $9,000 a month in April 2025, but the listing was taken down shortly after. It reappeared in June with a new monthly price of $10,500.
In November, it was removed again before going up for sale this week.
According to real estate records obtained by the Daily Mail, Curtis recently resolved a financial issue with the property by paying off a $29,538 lien on December 8th. The lien was first filed in March 2024.
According to reports, he struggled to pay the homeowners association fees for the property in 2017, missing payments for February and March, as The US Sun reported.
The total amount due was $15,242, but it was paid off two months later.
The life coach had owned the property since January 2015, when he purchased it for $1,277,904. He financed the purchase with a $992,000 mortgage.
His apartment is a stylish and comfortable space, combining rustic details like exposed brick with modern features such as a glass partition. It’s conveniently located just a short walk from the New York City waterfront.
Selling the house might indicate a significant change in his relationship with Aniston, who lives on the West Coast.
Curtis shared details about their relationship while appearing on the Today show to promote their new book, The Book of Possibility.
He explained that he and the Hollywood star were introduced through a mutual connection. They discovered they had friends in common and simply started talking.
He noted that ‘it took a long time,’ before they took their relationship to the next level.
‘We chatted for a long time and we became close,’ he added.
Curtis revealed that he and his partner have been together for several months, almost a year, and appeared to be blushing when he shared this with Today’s Craig Melvin.
Meanwhile, Aniston owns a $21 million Bel-Air mansion in Los Angeles.
This midcentury modern home has plenty of space, with seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. It’s situated on a large 3.27-acre lot and offers 10,186 square feet of living space.
The Emmy-winning actress is currently renovating her recently purchased $7.5 million home, which is located right next to her existing mansion.
