Jennifer Aniston revealed the reason why she has never been to the Met Gala. 

56-year-old Actress has opted to skip the annual star-studded event held on the Met’s iconic steps, which she hasn’t attended herself.

She acknowledged that she’d received an invitation earlier, yet opted not to go to the Met Gala.

‘It overwhelms me,’ she explained in an interview with Glamour published on Tuesday.

She shared that she feels somewhat anxious about going to high-profile gatherings, like the yearly fashion charity event held in New York City.

In that same conversation, Jennifer Aniston, who is known for her role in Friends, disclosed the various cosmetic treatments she’s had throughout the years.

She mentioned, “‘It’s the process of preparing, the act of dressing up. I identify more as a ‘casual jeans, sandals, and t-shirt’ type of lady.'”

She expressed, “The preparations and the act of dressing, that’s me. I lean towards casual attire such as jeans, flip-flops, and tank tops.

For me, dressing up is more about playing a psychological role: “It’s fun to put on formal clothes, don a beautiful gown, apply makeup, style my hair nicely, and then join my peers in a grand hall.

‘Everyone’s there to celebrate each other and have some fun, but I get nervous,’ she admitted.

As a devoted adherent, I’d admit that I sometimes feel a pang of apprehension when it comes to public speaking. Over time, I’ve become particularly sensitive to instances where my words might be misconstrued or taken out of context.

During the same interview, the renowned for her youthful appearance and fit physique, Jennifer Aniston, shared insights into her beauty routine.

During a joint conversation at some point, the star who always seems sun-kissed from her perpetual Malibu glow shared with Cotillard (and others) that she undergoes facial treatments, laser therapies, and various other beauty enhancements.

Despite the rumors suggesting she underwent plastic surgery, it should be noted that she didn’t acknowledge these allegations. The speculation arises not only due to her youthful appearance but also because she was seen outside a plastic surgeon’s office in Connecticut with friend Sandra Bullock last year.

This center primarily focuses on facial rejuvenation procedures like facelifts and rhinoplasty. However, they also provide a variety of other cosmetic enhancements including Botox treatments and Kybella injections.

The subject of staying young looking came up when Aniston was asked about getting older. 

But 49-year-old Cotillard jumped in by saying Aniston has made her feel empowered about aging.

‘That means so much to me,’ Aniston replied.

Growing up, we didn’t have those inspiring role models around us. As for aging gracefully, I seem to possess an unending wellspring of optimism and positivity – some might call it youthful spirit. To me, this journey begins with appreciating and loving our bodies just as they are.

I understand what you mean by facials, lasers, and such high-end beauty treatments. To clarify, I maintain myself as well.”

Or, more casually:
“I get what you’re saying about skincare treatments like facials and lasers. To put it another way, I keep up with self-care too.

She declared her intent to stand tall against the approaching silver locks, emphasizing it as a personal stance, and also reminded everyone about the importance of appreciating this one body we each have.

She remarked, “For me, it’s a deeply significant statement, coming from Marion – someone I view as an embodiment of positivity, kindness, grace, and skill.
