Jennifer Aniston has spoken out against big tech.
Jennifer Aniston, 56, recently shared in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK that she’s frequently bothered by deepfakes created of her.
I frequently find instances of things being used online that aren’t mine, or people let me know about them, saying it doesn’t seem like something I’d promote. When that happens, I forward it to my lawyers to send a legal notice demanding they stop.
‘It’s just such a runaway train,’ she added, referring to the growth of Artificial Intelligence.
The actress, who also discussed her two-decade struggle with infertility, simply described the world of major technology companies as ‘crazy’.
Aniston also expressed he concern about young people’s use of social media.

While the creators likely believed this was a good innovation and have certainly achieved great financial success, it’s had a devastating impact on a large number of people.
The actress recently revealed to The Sun that she’s found fake videos of herself online being used to advertise products like diet pills and collagen boosters.
It’s really disturbing how AI is being used right now. I’m getting messages from people I know asking if I’m involved with certain products or commercials that were actually created by AI.
She explained, “I know it’s not my fault, but I can see why someone might blame you.”
A man in Britain recently discovered he’d been tricked out of $266 by a scammer pretending to be Jennifer Aniston. He thought the message he received was genuine and heartfelt.
A 43-year-old man from Southampton, named Paul Davis, was recently scammed using a new type of fraud involving artificial intelligence. He received messages from fake celebrity accounts created using deepfake technology on social media.
In a particularly nasty trick, Davis received a picture that appeared to be Jennifer Aniston’s driver’s license. Then, the person posing as her told him she loved him and asked for money.
Unfortunately, Paul was tricked into thinking the message was genuine and sent the money as non-refundable Apple gift cards.

Aniston is not the only one struggling with deepfakes.
Earlier this year, a fraudster tricked a French woman, Anne, out of nearly $931,000 by pretending to be Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston’s former spouse.
The woman told French news outlets she spent a large sum of money believing she was funding cancer treatment for the actor.
The woman said she first received a message on social media from someone who said they were the actor’s mother, and then from an account she thought was the actor himself.
Anne felt she’d become close to the actor after months of conversation, and their relationship eventually became romantic. However, after she revealed she’d split from her wealthy partner, he asked her for financial help, claiming his own funds were unavailable due to his divorce.
The fraudsters created phony profiles on social media and WhatsApp, and even used AI to generate images that looked like selfies from Brad Pitt. They sent these to Anne, building a false connection that eventually fell apart last summer.
The woman finally understood she’d been misled when she discovered the actor wasn’t actually in the hospital, and photos surfaced of him with a new partner. She was later treated for serious depression, but chose to share her story to help others.
After hearing Anne’s story, the agent for the Fight Club actor told Entertainment Weekly they were horrified that scammers exploit the connection fans feel with celebrities. They advised people not to reply to unexpected messages, particularly those from actors who aren’t active on social media.

In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston shared that she privately struggled with trying to have a baby for twenty years.
The actress recently spoke about her personal life and responded to rumors that she chose her career over having children, dismissing the idea that she’s a self-centered workaholic.
She explained that people weren’t aware of her personal struggles over the last two decades as she tried to start a family, because she keeps her health issues private.
It’s really no one’s concern, but it’s gotten to the point where I can’t ignore the rumors. People are saying I won’t have a baby or a family because they think I’m too focused on my career and self-centered.
Of course it bothers me—I’m only human, and so is everyone else. That’s what made me think, ‘Why not?’
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married from 2000 to 2005. Their marriage ended after Pitt began a relationship with Angelina Jolie while filming the movie *Mr. & Mrs. Smith*.
In 2022, Jennifer shared the heartbreaking news that her attempts at IVF weren’t successful, and expressed regret that she hadn’t frozen her eggs sooner.
‘It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,’ Jennifer said at the time.
In my late thirties and forties, I faced some incredibly difficult challenges. Looking back, I realize those experiences were essential to my personal growth and helped me become the person I was destined to be. During that time, I was also trying to get pregnant.
I spent years trying to get pregnant, constantly researching and trying different things. It was a really difficult time – I did everything I could think of, from IVF to traditional Chinese medicine, hoping something would work.

I wish someone had told me to consider freezing my eggs earlier. It just wasn’t on my radar at the time. Now, it’s too late for me, but I honestly don’t regret the choices I made.
Jennifer was 35 years old when she and Brad separated, and she has stated that claims he ended their relationship because she didn’t want to have children are completely false.
She went on to marry actor Justin Theroux in 2015 when she was aged 46.
But theirs wasn’t to be a lasting romance. They divorced just three years later.
In July, Jennifer announced she was dating Jim Curtis, a charismatic hypnotist, confirming their new and exciting relationship.
According to a source, Jennifer is currently dating Jim and is very happy, though she’s taking the relationship at a comfortable pace.
