Jennifer Aniston, 56, reveals what she indulges in on a ‘cheat day’ while still maintaining a size 2 figure

Jennifer Aniston is known for her amazing physique, which she maintains through a low-carb diet and regular exercise.

But once in a while the 56-year-old Morning Show actress likes to cheat on her diet.

And her cheat days sounds pretty fantastic.

Angelina Jolie recently told People magazine that her new cookbook, Cooking With Clydeo – released on September 9th – features plenty of indulgent recipes she likes to make when she’s craving a treat.

Aniston will have ‘pizza nights, burgers or Mexican food,’ she told the outlet.

She’s often seen at glamorous events, but also enjoys simple pleasures like going to dinner with friends. She loves to relax with a martini and a great meal at her favorite restaurant.

She loves eating at Nobu in Malibu for Japanese food and Casa Vegas in Sherman Oaks for Mexican cuisine.

She shared that her favorite recipe in the new book is a savory snack called Enchilada Bites, which Jennifer Aniston personally loves.

She described the cheesy recipe as delightfully small and satisfying, saying, ‘You can enjoy it without feeling guilty because they’re just little bites.’ She added with enthusiasm, ‘It’s really, really delicious!’

Cook with Clydeo is a cookbook featuring 35 recipes for all meals and snacks, presented with a fun twist – many are written as if told by a dog named Clydeo! The author plans to release two more books: Clydeo Versus Peanut Butter later this year, and Clydeo Makes a Friend in winter 2026.

Aniston has talked before about her diet.

Jennifer mentioned last year that she enjoys indulging in a ‘cheat day’ and occasionally likes to have a dirty martini.

I’m a big fan, and it’s amazing to see how dedicated they are to wellness! They really prioritize a healthy life, and a big part of that is their eating habits. They focus on getting plenty of protein while keeping carbs and sugar to a minimum – it’s clearly working for them, and I admire their commitment!

Aniston will reward herself with cheat days when she wants to enjoy her favorite foods and drinks. 

She prefers martinis – a classic drink made with gin and vermouth, and typically served with an olive or a lemon twist.

According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, Jennifer Aniston eats a protein-rich diet with plenty of healthy carbohydrates, and she also allows herself occasional treats and ‘cheat days’.

‘If she wants to enjoy a dirty martini or tequila, she’ll splurge. It’s no big deal.’

To unwind, the star of The Morning Show enjoys meditating and taking her dogs for walks to get some fresh air.

The source added: ‘She meditates, and loves hikes with her dogs.’
