Jenna Ortega tells fans “please don’t” as Wednesday TikTok trend goes viral

As a devoted fan who has grown up with the Addams Family, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions regarding this latest turn of events. On one hand, I’m thrilled to see Jenna Ortega stepping into Wednesday’s shoes and giving us a darker, more twisted season two. But on the other, I’m disheartened by the thoughtless actions of fans who are mistreating the plush dolls in stores.

Jenna Ortega is asking her followers to refrain from taking part in a popular online challenge where people are damaging the store-bought Wednesday action figures.

The popular TikTok craze involves pulling back the soft toy’s hair, exposing its forehead and giving off an appearance as if it’s bald.

Due to its popularity spreading extensively, a department store felt compelled to inform customers not to tamper with the dolls, as the sign cautioned, “Please do not play with Wednesday’s hair or you may be asked to depart.

As reported by NME, Jenna Ortega, the star of Wednesday, has asked her fans to halt a particular trend. On one of the TikTok videos, she simply requested, “Don’t do it.

Meanwhile, a recent teaser video has revealed that Wednesday herself might not be the biggest fan of dolls. In a first look at Wednesday season two, Ortega is seen as the titular character, wielding a knife. “Let’s play dolls,” she announces ominously.

In a backstage video, they showed a unique collection of eerie scenes from the set, with Catherine Zeta-Jones (as Morticia Addams) hinting that this upcoming season will be larger and more sinister than one could possibly conceive.

“If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed… and I’m not that generous,” added Ortega.
