Jenna Ortega Reveals Exhausting Secret

Jenna Ortega has shared about experiencing quite severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, which frequently makes her feel drained.

On Wednesday evening, the young actress, aged 22, appeared alongside veteran actor Paul Rudd, who is 55 years old, in a chat show hosted by Dev Griffin. During this appearance, they talked about their forthcoming film titled “The Death of a Unicorn.

The conversation quickly shifted towards their nightly habits, as Dev inquired about their wind-down rituals, and Jenna seized the moment to discuss how OCD impacts her nighttime routine.

Obstructive-Compulsive Condition is a type of mental health issue where individuals experience persistent, uncontrollable thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive actions (compulsions).

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say, “Balancing a hectic work life with frequent travel makes establishing a consistent evening routine a challenge. Each new location brings fresh surroundings and unique demands, so adapting a routine becomes essential, yet it’s only sustainable for approximately six weeks.

I tend to accomplish more tasks during the night as opposed to the morning, since I prefer not to overload my mind with additional tasks when I have work approaching.

Instead of heading to bed at 8 or 8:30 PM, I tend to stay up later because that’s when I have the most productive hours. Consequently, I end up spending my evenings engrossed in reading scripts, responding to emails, and taking care of various tasks like that.

During the virtual chat with Dev, she mentioned, “I also experience quite severe OCD when I’m tired. This is part of my daily routine, involving recurring thoughts, counting things several times, and repeating actions numerous times.

Occasionally, my evenings are spent feeling overly tired and making frequent trips up and down the stairs, as many as six times, because I believe this is necessary to ensure that no uninvited guests enter my house.

An example of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is when someone has an overwhelming anxiety about burglaries, causing them to repeatedly check that their house doors and windows are securely locked multiple times before leaving or going to bed.

Currently, Paul shared that as he grows older, he likes to retire to bed earlier. He also mentioned that his mornings are busier compared to his evenings.

He shared that he has developed a preference for retiring earlier than he once did. Now, when it’s 8:30pm, he often questions if it’s too early to go to bed, fearing he might wake up at 4:00am because of the early hour. Waking up at 4:00am is acceptable for him, but 2:00am is a bigger challenge!

To be honest, I don’t strictly follow a fixed schedule. However, in the mornings, I generally start my day with a cup of coffee, followed by attempting a crossword puzzle to stimulate my mind.

Jenna’s words come after she recently shocked fans as she made a huge change to her face.

On a Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nevada, the actress from Wednesday showcased an exceptionally long and stylish outfit. However, what truly captivated fans wasn’t merely her fashion choice – it was something more: her captivating charm and charisma.

At CinemaCon, the standout figure exuded an impressive look in a stylish, double-breasted purple blazer with structure and short length, paired with mini shorts, during the State of the Industry and Lionsgate presentation.

Jennifer complemented her fashionable outfit by wearing a classy purple Versace shirt priced at $1,073, and she elevated her silhouette with matching purple satin platform shoes.

For the night, she elegantly smoothed out her rich, dark hair into a polished blow-dry style, while adorning herself with a stunning array of makeup that added to her allure as she held the spotlight on stage.

As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but notice an intriguing change in her appearance – her freshly bleached eyebrows that stood out against her rich, dark tresses.

Vogue magazine, a key authority on fashion, went so far as to remark that the dramatic alteration in her facial features left her virtually unidentifiable.

At the gathering, Jenna along with her fellow actor The Weeknd (age 35) showcased their upcoming film, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” due for release on May 16th.

Canadian artist Abel Tesfaye set Caesar’s Colosseum ablaze with a rendition of two songs from the film, “Cry For Me” and “Open Hearts,” along with his iconic hit, “Blinding Lights.” In simpler terms, he performed these three songs at Caesar’s Colosseum.

During the presentation, the duo also revealed the new trailer for the upcoming thriller movie.

Heart Evenings with Dev airs weekdays 7:00pm-10:00pm, also available on the Global Player app.
