As an ardent admirer of Jenna Ortega, I find myself utterly captivated by her extraordinary journey from a seven-year-old actress wannabe to the enigmatic Wednesday Addams we all adore today. Her tale is a testament to the power of determination and the transformative potential of social media in shaping our lives.

Jenna Ortega recently re-shared a charming video her mom initially posted on social media, which marked the beginning of her acting journey.

As a passionate devotee looking back, I recall the pivotal moment that kick-started my journey in the acting world, which happened way back in 2010 when I was just seven years old. This life-altering event unfolded as a result of a Facebook post.

In the last episode of the innovative documentary series, “My Generation,” which is broadcasted on MSNBC by NBC News Studios, the 22-year-old individual who goes by ‘The Wednesday Star’ posted the video.

‘My mom shot this video and put it on Facebook for her friends, and they loved it,’ she recalled.

Originally from The Scream series, this individual appeared in a sneak peek video for Wednesday’s upcoming season, which was shared by Netflix. They went on to say, “Apparently, it somehow reached a casting agent, and since then, it has become part of history.

‘Like many Gen Zers, you can say my career was also launched online,’ she continued.

In the clip, the actress was just a child at the time and being filmed by her mother.

Hello there! I’m Jenna Ortega and I’m just seven years old. In a moment, I’ll be sharing with you an emotional speech that I have prepared.

Subsequently, modern-day Ortega, embodying Generation Z, proceeded to share an account of how a social media post ignited her acting journey.

She previously recalled how fell in love with acting at the young age of six.

Initially, her parents firmly stated that under no circumstances would they allow her to pursue the chosen career.

However, she didn’t give up and eventually managed to convince them by putting on a theatrical display for her mother and impressing her, so they allowed her to try it.

Ortega, who grew up in Southern California, spent years trying to break into the industry.

Her parents would drive her six-hours round trip to Los Angeles four times a week after school.

Finally, at age 10, she landed her first role — a guest appearance in the CBS show Rob.

Later in life, Ortega found success as a child actress at Disney and eventually secured parts in shows like Jane the Virgin and Stuck in the Middle.

Even though she rose to fame at a young age, she said her family helps her stay humble.

She mentioned that it’s her family members, including her mother Natalie, father Edward, and five siblings – Isaac, Mariah, Mia, Aliyah, and Markus – who help her stay humble.

She shared with People in 2017 that it brings her joy to return to the Coachella Valley, where she can reunite with her loved ones – those who’ve been by her side since the very beginning.

It’s pleasant to know they’re with me at all times.

She mentioned, upon arriving home, that there were dishes piled up in the sink, waiting for her.
