Jenna Ortega Officially Starring In New Post-Apocalyptic Movie Filming Next Year

Jenna Ortega‘s next movie project has been revealed.

The actor will lead a new film set in a post-apocalyptic world, with production starting next year. She’s been increasingly visible in both movies and television, gaining widespread recognition for her role as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series Wednesday. She’s also appeared in films like A24’s Death of a Unicorn and will soon be in the sci-fi movie Klara and the Sun. Throughout her career, she’s consistently worked on a variety of projects, successfully balancing multiple roles at once.

According to Deadline, Jenna Ortega will star in a new post-apocalyptic film called Lily May B, scheduled to begin filming in spring 2027. The movie will be directed by Leos Carax, known for his films Holy Motors (2012) and Annette (2021). Lily May B tells the story of a boy and a girl traveling across a desolate world on a motorcycle, each with a hidden secret. As they journey together, they form a strong connection and try to find their purpose.
