Tim Burton’s upcoming movie, titled “Beetlejuice,” serves as a much-anticipated follow-up to his 1988 film in the genre of fantasy comedy horror, also called “Beetlejuice.”
35 years later, Catherine O’Hara (age 70), Winona Ryder (age 52), and Michael Keaton (age 72) are all set to return to their original characters in the follow-up film.
Fans of Beetlejuice went wild in May as the initial preview for the highly anticipated sequel hit screens, featuring the return of stars like Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Catherine O’Hara to their original roles.
A significant amount of time has elapsed since the happenings depicted in the initial movie. Now, Lydia Deetz, played by Winona, is a parent to her teenage daughter, Astrid, portrayed by Jenna.
Lydia believed she had no more contact with that tricky spirit – that is, until her child stumbled upon an ad for a “Bio Exorcist” during their everyday life.
Despite her mother’s firm advice, it was Astrid who managed to summon Beetlejuice by uttering his name thrice.

The director clarified, “He has resumed his involvement, but it’s a bit intimidating for someone who wasn’t particularly keen on it to start with.”
He continued: ‘It was such a beautiful thing for me to see all the cast, but he, sort of like demon possession, just went right back into it.’
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice will be released on September 6.
