Jenna Ortega debuts unexpected new project
As a devoted fan of both Jenna Ortega and Sabrina Carpenter, I can hardly contain my excitement over their upcoming collaboration! With Jenna’s impressive roles in “Wednesday” and “Scream,” and Sabrina’s smash hits like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” this is a powerhouse duo that I never knew I needed.
Jenna Ortega is making her debut in an unexpected venture, as she’s set to appear in a music video by popular artist Sabrina Carpenter.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share that the talented actress Jenna Ortega, famous for her work in ‘Wednesday’ and ‘Scream’, will be starring in the music video of John Carpenter’s latest single, ‘Taste’. This track is from his upcoming album, ‘Short n’ Sweet’. I can hardly wait to see what they’ve got in store!
On my socials, I, a fellow gamer, shared some exciting news: The music video for ‘Taste’, the next big thing following the smash hits ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’, will drop simultaneously with the album this coming Friday (August 23rd). Can’t wait to groove along!

The post also included a 16-second teaser of the video, which showed Carpenter overseeing a variety of weapons on her bed, before entering a house with a knife as she discovers Ortega in the shower with a mystery man.
In a nod to Alfred Hitchcock’s movie “Psycho”, Carpenter reveals herself to attack Ortega. The scene concludes when the singer comments on Carpenter’s impact, as she applies makeup while gazing at her reflection in the blade.
In a recent statement, actress Selena Gomez, set to appear in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, acknowledged and admitted to some unprofessional behavior following the controversy over her changing lines during filming for “Wednesday”.
She admitted, “Perhaps I could have expressed myself more clearly when explaining everything. Truth be told, I tend to go on at length, which might have made things difficult. If I had presented the situation more effectively, I believe it would have been better understood.”
“What I shared seemed so exaggerated. It gave off a bleak, dystopian vibe. I felt like an exaggerated version of myself. It’s impossible to please everyone, and since I naturally strive to make people happy, this realization was particularly tough for me.”
“Certain individuals might not find you appealing, and that’s perfectly acceptable. Last year, I grew tired of myself due to my frequent appearances everywhere. So, if I were browsing my phone and kept encountering the same person with a trite saying or something similar, I wouldn’t be surprised if I felt over it too.”
Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
