As an ardent fan who has witnessed Jenna Dewan’s journey since her days on Step Up, I must say it’s heartening to see her move forward with renewed vigor. The way she chose to celebrate the finalization of her divorce from Channing Tatum, by referencing Nicole Kidman’s post-divorce joy, speaks volumes about her resilience and grace. It’s a testament to her strength, not just as an artist but also as a woman who has navigated the complexities of life with poise.

Jenna Dewan marked her divorce from Channing Tatum with a celebratory Instagram post, which shed light on her current mindset.

It appears that the star of Step Up expressed relief on social media (Instagram Story) after finalizing her divorce, as she posted an old picture of Nicole Kidman, taken post-divorce with Tom Cruise.

57-year-old Kidman exited her lawyer’s office with a radiant smile, having finalized her divorce from the Mission: Impossible actor, who is 62 years old, after eleven years of marriage.

Previously, Dewan posted a series of new images on Instagram, displaying pictures of herself, her partner Steve Kazee, and their daughter Rhiannon.

She captioned the photos: ‘Thank you universe.’

The following day saw Dewan sharing her thoughts, as it became public knowledge that her divorce settlement had been finalized and the legal dispute between her and Tatum regarding the Magic Mike series had ended.

Discussions between the previous partners have been at a standstill for years due to their ongoing disputes regarding ownership of the intellectual property and the division of funds that Channing Tatum makes from his profitable movie series.

This week, I’m delighted to share that my legal team and I have reached a final agreement with a party who had been involved in a dispute. The specifics of the settlement are private, but what matters is that we’ve put pen to paper on a legally binding document that resolves this issue once and for all.

That means the trial showdown between the battling exes that was scheduled for December is now off.

In case Tatum and Dewan encounter any future disputes regarding custody, they are prepared to handle it discreetly by discussing the matter with a judge, as indicated in the court documents presented to a judge in Los Angeles.

Both also mutually agreed to waive spousal support from one another.

Dewan and Tatum married after meeting while on set of the 2006 film Step Up.

In 2018, they made a shared announcement on social media, stating that there were no hidden issues or scandalous occurrences leading to their decision to part ways.

The exes stated that their love for each other remains unchanged, yet they are embarking on separate journeys for now, making their relationship an exciting exploration.

Although they legally ended their relationship in November 2019, the divorce process has been delayed due to Channing Tatum’s profitable business ventures stemming from the successful 2012 film “Magic Mike.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, this actress managed to fund the entire Magic Mike film series (comprising of two sequels) as well as a HBO reality TV show titled “Finding Magic Mike” and a live performance in Las Vegas, during her 10-year marriage.

Together with the movie’s director, Steven Soderbergh, Tatum jointly funded this project. The film heavily drew inspiration from Tatum’s personal past as a stripper in Florida.

Their $7 million investment turned into a blockbuster, earning $167 million worldwide.

As a lifestyle advisor speaking here, I’d put it this way: In my professional opinion, it appears that Samantha Spector, renowned attorney for Dewan, has asserted in legal documents that Tatum’s legal team may have unfairly withheld an equitable share of the community assets from Jenna. This potential bias is compounding daily as this case progresses.

Spector estimated the Magic Mike business is ‘a potential billion dollar asset.’

Jacqueline Combs, lawyer for Tatum, emphasized that the significant earnings from the Magic Mike series were primarily generated following Tatum’s separation from Dewan.

In legal documents, the actor stated that he had consistently consented to his former partner receiving a share of the earnings from Magic Mike.

The 44-year-old celebrity clearly stated that he has never withheld any portion of the shared communal properties or earnings from her. He firmly refutes the allegations suggesting collusion with external parties, stating they are entirely baseless.

‘She has unrestricted access to all our financial documents, encompassing every transaction throughout our marriage and post-separation. I still keep her informed about any financial issues related to Magic Mike.’

Previously teamed-up actors in the Step It Up movie are joint parents of their 11-year-old daughter Everly. They’ve established a 50/50 custody arrangement for her, an agreement that was made in February 2020.

Tatum is betrothed to the actress and filmmaker Zoe Kravitz, who is 35 years old, and appears in her directorial premiere titled “Blink Twice.

Since the year 2020, Dewan has been in a relationship with the 48-year-old actor Steve Kazee. Together, they share a four-year-old son named Callum, as well as their newest addition, a baby girl named Rhiannon.

On Wednesday, the actress shared a thank-you message to the universe along with a smiling selfie on Instagram. This came a day after she and Tatum officially finalized their divorce by signing the final divorce agreement.
