As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that it is always refreshing to see public figures like Jenna Bush Hager open up about their personal struggles and fears. In today’s world, where we are often bombarded with images of perfection, it is important to remember that everyone has their own battles to fight.

Today, Jenna Bush Hager shared that she grapples with a severe phobia, one so potent it reduces her to trembling and fearful, sometimes even causing her to fall to the ground.

On Monday’s broadcast of ‘Today with Hoda & Jenna’, the mother of three and her co-host, Hoda Kotb, delved into an article from DailyMail.com concerning the prevalent phobias in the United States. It was then that Jenna chose to disclose her own fear.

The individual, who is 42 years old, shared that they suffer from globophobia. In a light-hearted moment, they humorously added, “It’s not the fear of phobia words, but rather an intense dread of balloons.” Hoda, at 60, then agreed, “Yes, Jenna is afraid of balloons.”

In response, the ex-First Daughter emphasized, “Yes, that’s true.” Hoda followed up with, “Without going into details, she does,” and Jenna concurred, “If I hear a loud noise near me, I quickly drop to the ground – honestly, I do.”

Affirming what Jenna had said earlier, Hoda disclosed that “she falls to the ground, she’s actually lying there,” as Jenna shared more about her struggle with yet another fear.

She admitted, “I share the same apprehension towards something, and it’s a fear that makes me uncomfortable to even contemplate. Interestingly, I’m usually not afraid of heights; I can handle rollercoasters with ease. However, when it comes to hiking, I just feel uneasy.” Hoda chuckled at this point.

Jenna went on saying, ‘Occasionally while hiking, when you finally reach the peak, peak, peak, and it seems like a single misstep could send me tumbling down, that sensation is something I’ve experienced.’

Speaking about her partner Henry, who she’s been married to for 16 years, Jenna remarked, “In the beginning, we loved going on hikes together, and at one point, I resided in Latin America.”

‘We would go to each country and we would hike the tallest point and we were in Ecuador, and it was touch and go. I was freaked out!’ Jenna went on as Hoda continued laughing.

In the realm of shared humor with my audience, I can’t help but reflect on a quirky fascination of my cohost that persisted well into his twenties – an affection that, much like myself, refused to be tamed by the passage of time.

In the previous episode on Tuesday, the pair shared memories of how their childhood bedrooms looked.

Hoda reminisced about her childhood bedroom: ‘My walls were adorned with posters, an unusual mix but one I was fond of. There were numerous sports trophies and small items scattered around. My bedspreads featured Fred Flintstone and Snoopy, which I cherished.’

She went on saying, “‘Ah, nothing beats being in bed surrounded by Peanuts characters.’ That was my thought, and I was surrounded by countless stuffed animals. I adored plush toys, and I had them all neatly arranged.”

Subsequently, Jenna disclosed: ‘Initially, my recollection of my bedroom includes windows, a fence, and my cat Cowboy often perched upon it. There was a chair where I’d sit near the air conditioner, either writing in my journal or crafting stories.’

When Hoda inquired about any posters, Jenna responded: ‘I can’t recall if I had posters up. My room seemed small, dominated by windows, a bookshelf filled with my books, and bookshelves surrounding the closet. And I adored Barbie dolls… until I turned 22!’

Laughing at her comment, Hoda said: ‘Yeah that was your big thing, very odd,’ as Jenna quickly fired back: ‘Well you had stuffies!’
