Jelly Roll shows off incredible 200lb weight loss and celebrates that he ‘can fit in Louis Vuitton now’

Jelly Roll recently revealed his significant weight loss, having lost around 200 pounds over the last three years.

He started losing weight in 2022, and by April of this year, he had gone from 540 pounds to 357 pounds.

He recently shared a photo of himself preparing to perform at the Grace for the World concert, which took place in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican this past Sunday.

He performed alongside a star-studded lineup, including John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Andrea Bocelli, Karol G, Pharrell Williams, and the Thai K-pop star BamBam.

The day after the performance, Jelly Roll (born Jason DeFord) shared some photos of his outfit online. He was wearing a navy bomber jacket over a silver cardigan, paired with a simple black t-shirt and pants.

He jokingly posted on Instagram that he could now afford Louis Vuitton, adding, ‘Someone save my bank account!’ to his five million-plus followers.

We’re incredibly grateful to Skateboard P, his entire team, and everyone who helped make last night such a success. Thank you all so much!

His wife, Alisa DeFord, who goes by Bunnie XO online, quickly commented, calling him ‘the hunkiest hunk of them all’ and adding a heart-eyes emoji.

Last November, Jelly Roll revealed he’d lost a significant amount of weight – 110 pounds in total. He lost between 60 and 70 pounds while on his Beautifully Broken tour last year.

He explained to People that his tour culture used to be very different – it previously centered around alcohol and drugs. He’s glad it’s changed.

We’ve built a tour culture focused on healthy living – good food, exercise, and daily emotional check-ins with everyone on the team.

He described overcoming a food addiction, which required him to completely rethink his relationship with food after 39 years.

Oh my gosh, Jelly Roll is just *so* real! He was talking about his weight loss journey, and it was amazing. He said his mom actually gave him the name ‘Jelly Roll’ because he was a bigger kid, which is adorable! But he admitted he’s *always* struggled with food, and that was the toughest part. But once he committed to getting healthy, it just…snowballed! He said once he started, it was unstoppable, like a little snowball gaining momentum. Seriously, he’s so inspiring, and it’s amazing to see him being so open about everything!

Growing up in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood, he explained that no one in his family had a healthy relationship with food. He said overcoming that early influence and developing self-discipline and commitment was the biggest initial challenge.

This April, he shared news of his weight loss progress during an interview with Pat McAfee on McAfee’s show, Big Night Aht.

He excitedly shared his weight loss journey, saying he’d gone from 540 pounds to 357 pounds. He plans to lose another 100 pounds and celebrate by skydiving in Sweden with his wife.

He recently spoke to the Tennessee Titans and shared that he’s reached another goal in his weight loss journey.

I’m dedicated to this team, and I’m pushing hard to get playing time. I’ve already lost 200 pounds, and I playfully told the coach that if I lose 50 more, I expect a contract!” This comment earned a big round of applause.
