Jelly Roll has been openly displaying his recent weight loss and clean-shaven look, and his wife, Bunnie Xo, appears to be very pleased with his progress.
The 40-year-old artist, who switched from rapping to country music, shared another look at his impressive makeover on Instagram this Tuesday.
The musician, Jason Bradley DeFord, playfully posted to his 5.5 million followers: ‘AI is getting really advanced!’
His amusing caption was likely forgotten after his 45-year-old wife playfully commented, ‘Let’s clone your bone.’
Bunnie Xo, also known as Alisa DeFord, made a comment referencing a TikTok video she’d shared previously. The video showed her and her husband with a caption joking about people thinking he was a clone because he’d lost weight and his tattoos appeared different.
On Sunday, Jelly Roll looked thinner than ever as his massive weight loss has hit new lows.

Okay, I’m still reeling! He SHAVED! After ten years, my beautiful, bearded idol actually shaved! And he was at the Titans game yesterday – I almost didn’t recognize him! It was a total transformation, and honestly, he looked incredible. I’ve been following him forever, and seeing that new look… it was a moment. I couldn’t take my eyes off him!
Fans were shocked by how thin the famous singer looked while attending the Seattle Seahawks game.
Jelly Roll showcased his slimline physique in a black Titans hoodie with a matching backwards cap.
The celebrity appeared cheerful while talking with running back Julius Chestnut and Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk.
The singer recently surprised his wife, Bunnie XO, by shaving off his beard after ten years of growing it.
However, his teenage daughter Bailee Ann had a much stronger reaction when he showed off his freshly shaved face.
The 40-year-old artist, who went from rapping to becoming a country music star, posted a video on YouTube Thursday showing him shave his beard. The video captured his daughter’s incredibly funny and exaggerated reaction.
He started the video by explaining that losing weight inspired him to change his look.

I know some of you might be tired of hearing about my weight loss, but losing nearly 200 pounds recently has really changed my perspective on things,” the singer said in a new video.
Okay, so Jelly Roll’s been losing weight, which is amazing, and it got me thinking… he said he started wondering what he’d look like without his beard! Like, can you even imagine Jelly without the beard? It’s wild, right? I’ve been trying to picture it all day, honestly. It’s just… a thought he had, and now it’s stuck in my head too! I need to know!
He confessed he’d been growing a beard for ten years in an attempt to hide his double chin, but admitted it hadn’t really worked.
He hadn’t shaved since he was released from jail, and admitted he was probably looking a bit scruffy. Despite that, he was excited to clean up and surprise his family, even joking he might look like a Ninja Turtle in the process!
The singer told his wife he was going to shave his head, but he didn’t tell his daughter, Bailee Ann, who he shares with his ex-partner, before doing it. He explained this in a video.
‘My daughter’s going to see me without a beard for the first time ever,’ he said.
Jelly Roll shared a video of himself shaving, something he’d never done publicly before. This meant fans hadn’t seen what his face looked like without a beard, and he was trying to surprise his daughter with his clean-shaven look.
The video created a funny, uneasy feeling as the shaky camera followed Jelly Roll calling for Bailee, then panning to show him finding her in the kitchen.

As soon as the 17-year-old saw her father’s new appearance, she looked shocked and turned her face away from the camera.
Okay, so I’ve definitely been in situations where someone’s telling you to stop – you know, that frantic ‘Stay over there!’ moment when they’re glancing back, clearly worried. But sometimes, the other person just… keeps coming. It’s like they’re not even hearing you! That’s exactly what happened here – someone warned them to hold back, but they just kept moving forward. It’s a classic case of someone ignoring a very clear boundary, and honestly, a little stressful to witness!
Bailee Ann burst into tears of laughter, exclaiming, “I can’t believe this!” and hugging herself tightly.
‘You look like a turtle!’ she exclaimed, just as her dad feared.
It was just… too much. She said it, and honestly, my heart broke a little. She was laughing, but then she covered her face, tears welling up, and it was like she didn’t even like feeling so happy. It was confusing, and honestly, incredibly endearing. I just wanted to protect her from… whatever it was that made her cry even while she was laughing. It was perfect, in a way, even though she clearly wasn’t okay with it.
She laughed and cried at the same time, unsure if she was feeling happy or heartbroken, and then she slumped forward.
Jelly Roll began to reply, but immediately burst into laughter and dismissed the question with a wave of his hand. The video then switched to a shot of him outside on his Tennessee farm, where he showed off his face without a beard.
The singer, known for the song ‘I Am Not Okay,’ playfully admitted, ‘You’ve probably noticed I resemble a Ninja Turtle.’ He then added, ‘Yeah, the whole thing was pretty wild.’

He explained that he initially grew a beard to help conceal his weight gain, gesturing to his chin and neck as he spoke.
Jelly Roll, in a video titled ‘How I REALLY Feel About The Grammys…’, shared his thanks for the three Grammy nominations he recently received.
Jelly Roll has received three nominations: Best Contemporary Country Album for ‘Beautifully Broken’, Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with Shaboozey on ‘Amen’, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ featuring Brandon Lake.
Jelly Roll recently shaved his beard, and his wife, Bunnie Xo, shared her reaction in a video on Instagram.
The podcast host, who is blonde, shared that after being with her husband for almost ten years, she’s never once seen him without facial hair.
She announced that her husband would be shaving his beard after a photoshoot. She jokingly said he’s gotten so thin—showing off his strong jawline—and they wanted to show it off for everyone.
Before getting rid of his facial hair, Jelly Roll playfully suggested he was considering a facelift.
Bunnie stubbornly kept her eyes shut, insisting, ‘I won’t look until it’s all gone. I’m not looking, okay?’
She explained that he attempted to reveal something to her, but she insisted she didn’t want to see it until everything was finished. He then asked her to leave the room.
Bunnie came back to find her husband had grown a mustache – specifically, a thick one that reminded her of a police officer’s – and she really liked it.

She complimented her longtime love, telling him he looked ‘so fine’ and branding them both ‘fire.’
Once he had shaved completely, she was shocked and covered her mouth, but admitted, ‘His bare face isn’t bad at all.’
I was so excited when they FaceTimed our family and friends to show off the singer’s new look! It was hilarious seeing everyone’s surprised faces – their reactions were priceless, and we all got to share in the moment.
One person said, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna cry,’ and another added, ‘What the f***? I am scared.’
However, Jelly Roll — real name Jason DeFord — did not debut his hairless face at the time.
I was so excited to hear any news, and Bunnie posted online to let us know he’ll share everything when he’s ready. She even added a little heart, which was sweet! It’s good to know he’s taking his time and will reveal things on his own terms.
This follows Jelly Roll showing off his weight loss while filling in as host on Jimmy Kimmel Live over the summer.
The musician has been steadily losing weight, and last December he announced his goal of appearing on the cover of Men’s Health magazine.

He shared on his wife’s podcast, Dumb Blonde, that his new goal is to appear on the cover of Men’s Health magazine by March 2026.
The star declared: ‘I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.’
He added that he was ‘so glad’ to be having the discussion in front of an audience.
I shared this openly because I want to be honest with people about the challenges I’m facing.
Jelly Roll shared his thoughts on how fame and body image connect, saying he believes people who achieve a high level of success sometimes feel embarrassed when they lose weight.
People often feel deeply embarrassed about weight changes, so they withdraw and try to lose weight privately. When they re-emerge, they struggle to adjust to how others perceive their new appearance or how they feel about themselves, and they have to learn how to navigate life again.
‘I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it.’
