Jeff Goldblum and Wife Emilie Livingston Hold Hands at BAFTAs Afterparty

At the Universal Focus BAFTAs afterparty on Sunday, Jeff Goldblum and his spouse Emilie Livingston were seen showing affectionate gestures by walking hand in hand throughout the event.

The well-known actor, aged 72, and his former Olympic rhythmic gymnast spouse, now 41, made a stylish appearance at the gathering.

I, breathless with excitement, strode outside in a dapper three-piece tuxedo, complemented by a pristine white shirt, a neatly tied white Dickie bow, and a pair of stylish tinted black shades that accentuated my every move.

As a devoted admirer of style, I adorned myself in an enchanting, long-sleeved dress that gracefully blended white and delicate lilac hues, subtly embellished with captivating floral motifs. To add a touch of whimsy, I complemented my outfit with quirky, semi-transparent white heels.

She opted for a minimalist approach to her accessories, wearing delicate pearl drop earrings, a chic gold wristwatch, and a sleek silver necklace.

It seemed like the pair enjoyed themselves, given that they attended the British Vogue and GQ celebration of fashion and film event earlier in the evening.

They just couldn’t resist touching each other, as they were seen together, hand in hand, on the red carpet during the afterparty.

Instead of sporting his silver sunglasses for the post-event gatherings, Jeff decided to keep his striking suit on but swap them with a pair of black shades instead.

In 2014, in November, Jeff, famously known for playing the Wonderful Wizard of Oz in Wicked, spent three years dating Emilie, and then they got married at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles.

He had a role during the BAFTAs ceremony,  performed the piano during the In Memoriam section.

On Sunday evening, the EE BAFTA 2025 Awards graced us again with a captivating display of entertainment, honoring the outstanding films of the year and the gifted individuals who breathe life into them.

At the 2025 BAFTA Awards, Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody were awarded Best Actress and Best Actor respectively. Furthermore, Conclave and The Brutalist both received four awards each, shining brightly amidst the glamorous event.

At The Royal Festival Hall, Adrien, aged 51, and Mikey, 25, each received an award for their outstanding performances in the films “The Brutalist” and “Anora”. They both had the main roles in these productions.

As a devoted cinephile, I eagerly anticipated the grandest evening in British cinema, where the charismatic David Tennant graced us as the host, accompanied by a stellar lineup of guest presenters. Together, they orchestrated the presentation of awards that made this night truly unforgettable.

In the face of ten impressive nominees, the film “Conclave” emerged victorious in the exceptional category of Outstanding British Film at the BAFTAs. This win adds to their existing awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing, making a total of three accolades they have received so far.

In a remarkable show of recognition, “The Brutalist” garnered four prestigious accolades. Adrien was honored with the esteemed title of Best Actor, while Brady Corbet, richly deserving, received the impressive Director award. Moreover, it also earned the Cinematography and Original Score awards.

In simple terms, Adrien publicly expressed heartfelt appreciation towards the British people, expressing that he has been feeling very much at home in England recently.

Overflowing with gratitude, I can’t help but express my heartfelt thanks to the amazing British public. You’ve welcomed me and my artistic pursuits into your hearts, making England feel more like a second home for me. This affection means the world to me, and I promise to treasure it deeply. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Brady expressed deep gratitude and humility, stating that there isn’t really a “best” director, comparing the title to a jest.

Accepting the BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Film for Conclave, director Edward Berger expressed: “It’s an immense honor to be recognized as an outstanding British film, and I’m not even a native! I feel incredibly welcomed among you. We are currently facing a critical period for democracy. Institutions that once united us now seem to divide us.

In difficult moments like that, it can be tough to hold onto hope. However, that’s exactly what films are for – to give us a reason to believe. And that’s precisely the reason we created this film.

Last week, I couldn’t help but rejoice as Anora, that six-million-dollar independent masterpiece starring Mikey, snatched not just one, but two awards at the Critics Choice Awards! Not only did Mikey take home the Best Actress trophy, but our beloved cast also won the Best Casting gong, outshining even the blockbuster movies. It’s moments like these that remind me why I am so passionately devoted to the magic of cinema.

With an emotional acceptance speech filled with expletives, Zoe Saldana gratefully received the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the Mexican film titled Emilia Perez.

The acclaimed actress, aged 46, found herself swiftly taken off-screen due to her use of profanity, exclaiming “damn, damn, damn” in haste as the countdown rushed her.

Zoe wept profusely while accepting the award, acknowledging that receiving this honor felt incredibly validating and truly prestigious. Previously, she had been informed by dialect coaches that her British accent wouldn’t be successful.

Listing off her thank yous, Zoe said: ‘Oh my god I’m getting a countdown. F*** f*** f***!’

Despite some divided opinions due to its release, the Mexican film featuring Selena Gomez among its talented cast, has garnered an impressive 11 nominations.

Jesse Eisenberg, aged 41, graciously accepted Kieran Culkin’s Best Supporting Actor award on behalf of his outstanding performance in the movie “A Real Pain.

Grabbing Kieran’s trophy – the fifth one he’s won for him this season, which he acknowledged – Jesse playfully remarked, “Guess my suspicions were right all along… our lives are quite alike, but his seems to be 27% more fabulous than mine.

Jesse, not only did they hand him the directorial reins for A Real Pain but he also acted in it, received the honor of Best Original Screenplay award, and gave a heartfelt speech from the stage.

Winning the second place award for the film, he confessed, “Since I didn’t believe I would win, I didn’t write anything. I’d like to acknowledge this recognition with my wife, who chose not to attend as she also didn’t expect me to win.

As Jacques Audiard, 72, the director of Emilia Pérez, acknowledged the award for Best Non-English Film, he offered a moving tribute to the troubled actress, Karla Sofia Gascón.

52-year-old Spanish actress Karla found herself excluded from the BAFTA guest list following a resurgence of controversial social media posts that she had made, which were accused of being racist, homophobic, and body-shaming in nature.

In his speech, Jacques expressed gratitude towards the film’s cast first, then concluded by acknowledging Karla Sofia and offering a kiss as a token of appreciation.

While Zoe, another character from the film, delivered an exuberant acceptance speech filled with gratitude, she acknowledged Karla as one of those she appreciated.

Previously, the director criticized the actress’ tweets as “unforgivable” and “malicious,” stating that they had “strained” their working bond.

At the BAFTA ceremony, Warwick Davis touched hearts as he delivered an emotional eulogy for his deceased spouse, Samantha David, during his heartfelt acceptance speech upon receiving a BAFTA Fellowship.

He expressed: “This might be the greatest event in my life… and I’ve been part of Star Wars! Tonight, I want to express my gratitude to my mom; she’s the one who made this moment possible.

Primarily, I’d like to express my heartfelt dedication to my amazingly supportive wife, Sammy, who we lost nearly a year back. Despite the challenges life has thrown at me, it’s been their unwavering support that has helped me get through. Our resilient children have stood by me during these tough times.

Orlando Bloom and Vanesa Kirby graced the stage to present Jesse’s BAFTA award at the ceremony.

In the awards ceremony, Demi Moore’s film The Substance received the accolade for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, whereas Dune: Part Two bagged two awards – one for Outstanding Sound and another for Exceptional Visual Effects.

During the event, Wallace and Gromit were awarded not just one but two BAFTAs. They received recognition for both the Best Animation category as well as the Best Children’s and Family Film award.

In a heartfelt gesture, the first-time filmmaker and head of Kneecap Productions, Rich Peppiatt, was honored with the award for Outstanding Debut. He then extended a moving tribute to all those individuals who are valiantly battling their struggles.

In a predictable turn of events, Jon M. Chu’s Wicked clinched the Best Production Design accolade, marking its first BAFTA win of the night. As the night progressed, the box-office hit was honored with a second award for Outstanding Costume Design.
