Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez put on sweet display as they return to Italy two months after lavish Venice wedding

They tied the knot in a extravagant, star-studded fashion in Venice less than three months ago.

And it seems Jeff Bezos and his new wife Lauren Sanchez couldn’t wait to return to Italy

The pair returned to the European nation on Friday to attend Italian Tech Week 2025, which took place in Turin.

I was so happy to see Jeff, who’s 61, finish speaking! Afterwards, the new couple were always near each other, just enjoying the convention and chatting with people as they walked around. It was really sweet to watch them milling through the crowd, clearly so in love. They seemed to be having a wonderful time!

The famous couple lovingly held hands, and Lauren, 55, looked radiant with a bright smile while posing for a picture.

They truly seemed like a powerful couple, walking hand in hand with calm and confident expressions. They appeared completely unfazed by everything around them.

With sunglasses shielding her eyes, Lauren appeared stylish and elegant in a white turtleneck sweater, coordinating slacks, and a cream-colored Celine belt.

Jeff dressed neatly in a blue button-down shirt, jeans, and leather shoes. He wore several beaded bracelets on his left wrist.

It’s been just about three months since she said ‘I do’ to Jeff Bezos in a beautiful wedding in Venice, and now we’re getting a glimpse of the couple! It’s so lovely to see them out and about, enjoying life as newlyweds. Wedding bells really suit them! Their happiness is truly radiant.

Often called the ‘wedding of the century,’ the Amazon founder and a former journalist got married with nearly 200 important guests watching on San Giorgio Maggiore island.

After the very private wedding ceremony, the billionaire couple hosted a glamorous reception with a guest list full of famous faces. Attendees included the Kardashian sisters, Oprah Winfrey, Ivanka Trump, Usher, and Orlando Bloom.

The lavish event – said to have cost $20 million and sparked anger among residents – ended with a surprising gift from the bride. It was quite the spectacle!

The wedding took place two years after Bezos proposed to Sanchez while on his $500 million yacht. It was a very private event – described as extremely intimate – and guests weren’t allowed to use their phones. Approximately 70 of the 200 attendees were family members.

Throughout her wedding celebrations, Sanchez first showed off her beautiful Schwartz ring while wearing a Schiaparelli dress.

The ring, a gift from celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, is estimated to be about 30 carats and is worth between $1.5 million and $3 million.

‘We aren’t really holding onto many traditions,’ Sanchez explained to Vogue before the event. ‘I do appreciate traditions, but it feels a bit different when you’re a woman of 55.’

For her ‘something borrowed,’ Sanchez wore Dolce earrings. But she took a unique approach to ‘something blue’ – she brought an item from her recent 11-minute trip to space.

‘Blue Origin,’ Sanchez said. ‘It’s something from my space flight.’

She treasured a unique memento from her time in space, sharing that it was ‘because it was literally one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had in my life.’

“Looking back at Earth from space was indescribable,” she shared with Vogue. “It was the most profound experience of my life. Jeff predicted it would change me in ways I couldn’t imagine, and he was right – it’s altered my perspective both visually and spiritually.”

However, the extravagant celebrations also caused some upset, as the wedding received criticism from both local residents and activists.
