Oh, my heart is pounding like a drum, dear reader! As a die-hard Oasis fan since the Britpop era, I’ve been through the highs and lows of this iconic band. From Definitely Maybe to their explosive split, every note they’ve played has resonated deep within me.

On Sunday evening, Jedward and Tara Reid teamed up for a performance of “Wonderwall,” following Liam Gallagher’s suggestion that Oasis might reassemble.

32-year-old former Irish twins and ex-contestants on The X Factor performed alongside their longtime companion Tara, aged 48, in a video posted on the platform previously known as Twitter, on a typical weekday (Monday).

During their short show, one half of Jedward played an acoustic guitar, while the other sang harmonies with Tara, who is recognized for her roles in the American Pie movie franchise.

One version that maintains clarity while using more conversational language could be: “Wonderwall, which has been certified platinum, is Oasis’ most famous tune. In 2020, it broke the record as the first song from the ’90s to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.”

As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but share the heartwarming tribute that unfolded at the Reading Festival. After Liam, aged 51, dedicated the Oasis track “Half The World Away” to his estranged brother Noel, who’s also 57, during his headline performance, the air was thick with emotion. This gesture, from one music legend to another, has stirred a sense of unity and nostalgia among us fans.

In the morning hours, the rock musician from Manchester hinted at a possible reunion with Noel, stirring up anticipation for an Oasis return after years apart, despite their public feuds.

Supporters have been encouraging the duo to reunite ever since their heated breakup in 2009, triggered by a physical altercation during a concert at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Last Sunday evening, during his main act at Reading, Liam played several songs from Oasis’s first album, Definitely Maybe, as a tribute to its 30-year anniversary.

“Presenting Half The World Away, a 1994 B-side that was also used as the theme for the sitcom The Royle Family. He addressed the audience saying, ‘I want to dedicate this song to Noel, well, I guess it’s more like I want to dedicate it to Noel Gallagher.'”

Liam persisted in leaving fans puzzled as he dedicated his performance of Cigarettes & Alcohol at the Reading Festival to those who dislike Oasis.

On their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe, the last single was a song he had composed, which was penned by his elder sibling.

When he wrapped up the performance, Liam proposed that an announcement might be shared on Tuesday at 8:00am. A brief video of an Oasis-style logo sign was then displayed on a big screen overhead, which later got posted to the official Instagram and X accounts of Oasis, Noel, and Liam.

In the center of the white, rectangular-shaped container, there was initially a black block. On this block, the date “27.08.24” was displayed, which is typically where a band’s name would appear. Later, it flashed and changed to display the time “8am”.

As a devoted admirer, I’ve learned from a trusted insider that while Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher may not share an amicable relationship, they both harbor a desire to revive Oasis for the sake of their loyal fans.

I’ve recognized that the clock is ticking, and the interest is skyrocketing. Realizing there might not be another opportunity, I made up my mind to seize this moment. For a while, I held out resistance, but eventually, I relented and consented to come back.

‘He spoke to Liam on the phone and they are on the same page. They know this reunion will go down in music history.’

According to Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE, who is the head of InterTalent agency, they might potentially earn over £400 million from the tour and any subsequent agreements.
