JayVik shippers thirst over cosplay kiss: “We will be reenacting every fanfic all at once.”

The popular cosplay kiss and photoshoot between Bbno$ and Will Neff’s JayVir character became a viral sensation online. The funds raised during their JayVir cosplay live stream were donated towards the relief efforts for the wildfires in Los Angeles.

Canadian entertainer bbno$, known for gaming, rapping, and singing, stayed true to his word when he agreed to dress up as JayVik in a cosplay, after stating in a TikTok post that he would do so if the video received 500,000 likes. The video surpassed expectations with a whopping 1 million likes instead.

JayVik cosplay kiss by bbno$ and Will Neff

In simpler terms, the term ‘JayVik’ represents a well-known relationship between the characters Jayce Talis and Viktor in the game League of Legends. With the release of the Arcane series on Netflix, this romantic duo has become noticeable to the rapper bbno$.

Following his viewing of Arcane, bbno$ conceived the plan for a JayVik cosplay. He then collaborated with Will Neff to materialize this concept. Additionally, bbno$ partnered with Jessica Nigri and Stella Chuu to facilitate the cosplay and photoshoot.

In simpler terms, bbno$ stated, “I made a video where I promised to do a remarkable JayVik costume cosplay if it received 500,000 likes. It surpassed one million likes, so I’ll edit the clip and we can share a kiss in it.

“We will be reenacting every fanfic all at once,” bbno$ also said in Viktor’s voice.

In addition to the cosplay, Victor’s gear from the series was included too. In a backstage video, bbno$ and Will Neff jokingly pretended it was a wedding ring during their preparations for the photo shoot.

As a gamer myself, I’m pumped to share that every penny earned during my JayVik cosplay streams is heading straight towards wildfire relief efforts here in LA. It feels great to give back this way!

Fans of the Arcane duo, BBNO$ and Will Neff, caused quite a stir when they unveiled their JayVik cosplay and photoshoot with a kiss. On platform X, one enthusiast even made a GIF to celebrate the moment.

Over on the Arcane subreddit, I couldn’t help but be amazed at bbno$’s dedication. A fellow fan, The_king_gubbins, exclaimed that the cosplay was a remarkable achievement for humanity, while another user, Dragoncat_3_4, simply couldn’t believe how spot-on it was.

Dragoncat_3_4 wrote: They assembled a team of makeup artists, costume designers, wig stylists, and full-fledged fujoshi consultants, along with their hype squad. This group recreated many popular fan art ships, leaving everyone astonished by their dedication, enthusiasm, and spot-on accuracy. Or more casually:

“Dragoncat_3_4 posted about an extraordinary gathering of cosplayers, costume designers, wig stylists, and fujoshi consultants, accompanied by their hype crew. They brought to life numerous popular fan art ships, leaving everyone in awe at their dedication, energy, and attention to detail. Apart from Dragoncat_3_4, it was also mentioned that Phantomhive1113 and sprumf expressed their appreciation for bbno$’s music as well.

JayVik at Riot Games?

A couple of days following bbno$ unveiling the JayVik cosplay, he shared an image of himself posing next to a Riot Games logo. Shortly after, he posted another picture of him standing before a wall adorned with various pieces of JayVik fan artwork.

There seems to be some ambiguity about whether bbno$ is working together with Riot Games on JayVik content, but fans continue to stand as one and are captivated by the cosplay and photoshoot.
