Jax Taylor is taking cutting ties with his eponymous bar, Jax’s Studio City.

When attentive followers observed that the sign of the business was no longer there, a representative for the celebrity clarified to TMZ that Jax decided to sever ties with the company to prioritize his recovery from addiction and improve his psychological well-being.

The rep explained that the decision was a well-thought-out and vital move aimed at focusing on his recovery from alcoholism and improving his psychological well-being.

Jax, 46, and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, 36, opened the watering hole in October 2023.

In the latest installment, Jax dropped by Brittany’s temporary residence to talk about setting up parental boundaries in their shared responsibility of caring for their 4-year-old boy, Cruz.

Yet, what started as a friendly conversation soon escalated into an argument, with the once distant pair raising their voices in disagreement.

During the heated custody dispute, Brittany openly confessed her concerns about his sobriety during a private conversation.

In March, Jax openly disclosed the alarming quantity of cocaine he used following Cartwright’s departure the previous year. This revelation left viewers shocked when, in a candid moment, he hurled a harsh insult at his estranged spouse, exposing the troubled state of their relationship.

According to Cartwright’s assertion, it seemed that only a few days had passed since Jax left the facility before he returned to the bars and resumed his party lifestyle.

‘It’s just so disappointing, like, he did not take anything seriously,’ she added.

Cartwright also accused Taylor of having others cover for him when he said he was drinking water.

At that moment, she clarified her intention to shield him from harm since she was concerned he might face difficulties or consequences.
