Jax Taylor spends time with female friend in LA after claiming ex Brittany Cartwright still asks him to ‘hook up’

As a neutral observer, it seems that the life of Brittany and Jax is filled with twists and turns, much like a rollercoaster ride at an amusement park. Their relationship, which appears to be marked by infidelity, emotional upheavals, and personal growth, has certainly kept their friends, family, and fans on the edge of their seats.

On a Thursday outing in Los Angeles, photos emerged showing Jax Taylor enjoying some companionship with a female acquaintance.

Previously known Vanderpump Rules cast member was spotted in Los Angeles’ Valley Village area, where he and an unidentified female visited a house that used to be his residence with his separated spouse, Brittany Cartwright.

Following his recent appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast, the get-together is scheduled not long after, where the 45-year-old reality star stated that his former partner, who has been teasing him for errors in divorce paperwork, continues to contact him propositioning a rendezvous.

During the same broadcast, he confessed to becoming enraged and overturning household items, following rumors of finding explicit pictures of Brittany on her phone, which she had reportedly shared with a companion.

Jax’s outfit on Thursday was casual and comfortable. 

He wore a pale gray hoodie with a graphic on the back, which he paired with darker gray sweatpants.

The star from the Valley sported a pair of black sneakers with red and gray highlights, and he donned a reversed black Los Angeles Dodgers cap on his head.

He brought along a drink in an insulated mug as he was seen near his vehicle with his lady friend.

The woman was wearing a slightly more elaborate outfit compared to him, sporting a green ribbed button-up sweater and dark trousers.

On a windy morning, she wrapped herself in a long, sleek black overcoat and carried a bulky black handbag that appeared to be quite substantial.

She finished off her ensemble with Christian Dior slide sandals, while her hair, as dark as a raven’s wing, was gathered into a ponytail.

It’s said that Jax and his buddy paid a brief visit to their ex-marital residence, lasting approximately 20 minutes, followed by them getting into his vehicle and driving off to the place where he now resides, which is a condo.

Prior to their outing, Jax had previously discussed on the Bravo Hot Mic podcast that he believes Brittany may not have been entirely truthful about her eagerness to leave their past relationship behind during their ongoing divorce process.

He complained that his ex ‘publicly humiliates [him] and calls [him] every name in the book,’ only to turn around and allegedly call him with requests to spend intimate time together.

According to Jax, Brittany invited him over two days ago for a drink, and also suggested they might spend time together more intimately.

He also alleged that his estranged wife added: ‘Don’t tell anyone that I’m doing this.’

‘People don’t know that,’ he continuing, adding that she ‘talks all this s***.’

Jax claimed he didn’t want to ‘blow her cover,’ despite doing just that with his allegations.

Instead, Brittany clarified some misconceptions in a comment about an Instagram post that featured a clip from her podcast interview.

She clarified, “I want to be clear that I was considering the possibility of us becoming friends, but it’s apparent now that isn’t possible.

In another part of the podcast, he showed a more peaceful demeanor and acknowledged his past behavior towards Brittany as verbally aggressive. This change occurred prior to his admission into a mental health treatment center earlier this year.

But this week’s comments made on the Hot Mic podcast have undeniably affected the trust he had for his estranged wife.

At the given moment, she asserted that he remained exactly the same during the 30-day period while undergoing treatment, a statement that Jax vehemently contested.

He expressed his belief that she secretly hopes for his downfall. He added, quite honestly, that he hasn’t made any mistakes since he returned, and in fact, has gone out of his way to be extra kind towards her.

It appears that the two had contrasting accounts about the last phase of their married life. While Brittany eventually initiated the divorce proceedings, Jax presented it as if it was her choice to terminate the marriage. This version reportedly took Brittany by surprise when he decided not to fight for the sake of preserving the marriage.

Instead, Brittany portrayed Jax as the one who terminated the relationship, and she expressed feeling ‘released’ since they were parting ways.

In simpler terms, when talking about his past actions, Jax provided a more detailed account of his troublesome behavior towards his ex-partner. This included expressing intense anger (seeing red) and destroying household items after finding out she had reportedly sent explicit photos to her friend Julian Sensley, even though they were no longer together at the time.

He claimed he was feeling hopeful about the relationship before the discovery.

According to Jax, our relationship was already established before I went on my Fourth of July trip. Upon my return, I asked her if she would consider moving in together again, and she agreed.

However, the situation shifted when he claimed to have found proof of Brittany’s connection with Julian. Despite her confession about a fleeting romance with Julian, Jax expressed his doubts, stating that their relationship had ended by then.

He exclaimed that he had recently spotted an iPad, finding her engaged in a conversation with Julian while sending photos, some of which appeared to be private or intimate images, including those of his child. Overwhelmed by this discovery, he expressed his distress.

He went on to explain that it was at this point he reached his absolute low, a situation that felt surreal or out-of-body. In this intense moment, he found himself acting irrationally, even going so far as to throw furniture around in a state of frenzy and anger, which he described as seeing red.

As I stood there, that moment felt like the shattering of a delicate vase – my breaking point had been reached. To clarify, our young prodigy, Cruz, aged three, wasn’t present during the heated exchange.

It appears that the event prompted Britney and Jax’s companions to take action, organizing an intervention for him just two days afterwards, indicating their concern for his wellbeing.

Following my discharge from the treatment center, I revealed: ‘For several years, I’ve had a feeling that something wasn’t right, although I couldn’t put my finger on it. More recently, I discovered that I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.’

However, he didn’t specify at the time what events had led to his PTSD diagnosis. 

He shared that he’s been going through a lot and it’s been an emotionally taxing period for him, but he returned home to his son with a renewed feeling of tranquility, as he put it on an Instagram post.

Despite Jax’s past infidelities in his relationship with Brittany, as well as his reported interactions with other women following their separation, Jax asserted that they had both agreed not to engage intimately with any of their shared friends during this period apart.

Jax expressed that if it had been someone he wasn’t close with who caused the issue, he might not have minded as much. However, since it was one of his friends whom he had nurtured, supported, and helped advance, particularly by securing a manager and fostering relationships for him, the friend’s behavior felt like a slight or disappointment to Jax. He described it as being a bit of a slap in the face.

Instead of saying “He went on to accuse Brittany of trying to hide the relationship with Julian,” you could rephrase it as “Later on, he implicated Brittany for concealing her connection with Julian.” To make it even clearer: “He pointed fingers at Brittany, suggesting she had been secretive about her relationship with Julian.

But Jax also noted that it was fitting that his ex was seeing another man after he his dalliances.

He asserted that although we had parted ways, we continued to spend time together. Simultaneously, she was involved with another individual… It seems like fate might be at play here, but let me tell you, I certainly experienced the consequences of my past actions.

He commented, “It didn’t sit well with me,” and continued, “It left a distinctly unpleasant impression, which seems to have set off a chain of events leading to a difficult period in my life… but for the past eight months, I’ve been going through a living nightmare.
