Brittany Cartwright‘s former spouse, Jax Taylor, is planning to depart from the reality series “The Valley,” following a significant revelation she made about his sobriety during their latest broadcast.

She informed her former partner, “Cruz won’t be visiting your place any time in the near future.” She explained, “I can’t trust that there aren’t unpleasant women or wild parties going on, which I find repulsive. Honestly, it makes you seem quite distasteful.

In reaction to her remarks, he clearly became agitated and left the area. In a private conversation, Taylor insisted that he is making an effort to act as a father for their child.

‘I’m here to be a dad, and I’m good at it and I enjoy it, and it makes me happy,’ he continued.

‘He serves as an inspiration for me, encouraging me to strive for personal growth. I believe it’s unfair for her to harbor resentment towards me, using it as a reason to withhold seeing my son. A more equitable approach would be better in this situation.’

In that very episode, Cartwright additionally labeled him as a self-centered individual, suggesting he lacks emotions such as love, pain, and emotional distress.

She expressed, “Although we’re distinct individuals, I must admit that I’m currently facing more challenges than you are at this moment, simply due to the fact that I deeply care.” While doing so, her eyes filled with tears.

Yet, you can discard it so easily, but for me, that’s not an option.” Cartwright countered by pointing out her numerous attempts to provide assistance before his rehabilitation stay last year.

It’s too little, too late. You’ve already caused irreparable damage to our family. I will take care of everything and I’ll send you an invoice for your share of all the medical bills.” Taylor then retorted: “Well, in that case, I won’t be granted full custody.

Cartwright stated, “I will have full custody. This means you will be responsible for child support covering half of Cruz’s expenses.

‘Well, you make more. So then I’ll go after your alimony,’ Taylor fired back. 

After that, the duo engaged in a heated dispute about child support. With Taylor visibly angry, he informed his separated spouse that California follows a 50/50 rule, implying that marital assets and liabilities are usually split evenly among the spouses.

I won’t allow Cruz to become like you, and you should feel the same way.

He expressed his deep affection for his child, stating he is determined to help him, but he’s tired of constant disagreements and conflicts between them. Later on, Cartwright confessed that no one wants Taylor to improve more than she does. She wishes she could be optimistic about his recovery, but he has disappointed her repeatedly over the years. Now, she has lost faith and trust in him.
