Jason Watkins in first look at chilling new UK crime drama
Channel 5 unveiled the initial glimpse of actors Jason Watkins and Robson Green in their upcoming suspenseful detective series titled “Catch You Later“.
Under the guidance of Toby Frow, executive producer of “Death in Paradise”, the series unfolds as a tense game of cat-and-mouse. In this role, Watkins plays retired detective Huw Miller, a man whose mind continues to be tormented by an unsolved case: a stalker who cruelly toyed with and eventually killed his victims in their town.
Yet, as Huw’s latest neighbor, Patrick Harbottle (Green), says “catch you later” – a phrase that was once used by a stalker to torment Huw during the investigation – Huw becomes absolutely convinced that Patrick is the one he’s been searching for.
The summary unveils a tense psychological chess match unfolding between the neighbors, while Huw’s life spirals into chaos.

Casualty actor Sunetra Sarker also stars in the four-part series as Huw’s wife.
During an interview with Deadline, Green revealed that the phrase “catch you later,” as spoken by his character, sets off a reaction within him, prompting his character to delve deeper.
“Patrick is over-friendly, and Huw feels everything is not quite what it seems,” he continued.
It soon becomes apparent that a game is afoot, but is Patrick behaving suspiciously as a stalker, or is Huw onto something, or perhaps veering off course due to psychological instability?
In this series, it’s fascinating to see Huw, skillfully portrayed by Jason, yielding to certain circumstances. It leaves the viewers pondering whether Patrick, who seems genuinely concerned about Huw, is merely a well-meaning individual or if he’s subtly manipulating him psychologically. The audience will be intrigued to uncover Patrick’s true intentions.
Catch You Later will air on Channel 5.
